Hi Guys ,
Good Day! Hope every one is good in health
I am a new member here and researching a lot about crypto currencies and how to achieve this Bitcoin currency.
And I have found that Bitcoin talk forum is the legit forum right now where 100% True suggestion and reviews Can be found so far.
So I am looking forward to compile all those research and reviews here to buy/Sell bitcoins in a very easy and safest way as every one knows that it's hard to get it over the Internet because of so many frauds and scams from p2p and Exchanges brokers all are looking to hunt your money and Scams
Here is the list I am not promoting any of them just need your remarks and advices also
1. Coinbase ( support is slow , and degraded service for credit and debit card transactions)
2. Gemini ( Support is Good , meanwhile I have not used them but seems genuine because of the owner of Gemini and it's who is domain record )
3. Local bitcoins .com ( Support is slow , newbie buyers can be scammed easily Becaause they don't know where to complain and how to get there money back , if using payment via PayPal , I don't know much about there escrow service if any one of you had any experience please share )
4. Bitcoin talk.org ( very responsive forum and legit users less chance of getting scam because so many users can easily suggest the buyer and seller reputation and the owner of the forum is Good in keeping eye on fraudulent users)
5. CEX.io ( support is good , but no positive review so far in 2017)
Please share your positive and negative experiences as well and how to get easily achieve Bitcoin without loosing your money and time . People need this thread so badly , new investors are having so much hurdle to buy this online.
If any one selling let me know BTC

cex.io has been around for a long time and i have not heard anything negative about them. they usually are the choice if you want to buy with credit cards and their verification process seems to take a while. and also the fees are high.
and as for bitcointalk, this here is P2P currency exchange so you will end up getting less to sell and paying a lot more to buy bitcoin than the market price. and the same goes for localbitcoins, but they are best choices for keeping your privacy.
there are also Kraken which seems to be good although i have not used it. and also btc-e which doesn't require any kind of verification.

Hehe, we broke CEX when the support department left, the TrustPilot scores have been shit since they replaced us Still, it's a good exchange. The fees will kill you, unless you can use SWIFT, and they are still a beast. Verification was a pita, but that may have changed in the years I was gone. Coinbase, moderate hassle. Will require veridication, but its quick. Lowest fees of the bunch you have presented, and they are 100% in my experience. LBC, moderate fees, but the least hassle. You don't need to verify for some merchamts, and offers the rare opportunity to buy bitcoin with cash bear market rate. Lots of spammers, but not hard to avoid them if you use a trusted. Escrow is built into the platform.

An important note for you: your chance of getting scammed on Bitcointalk is much higher than on LocalBitcoins.
Cryptocurrencies and PayPal don't mix, so if you're buying or selling for PayPal you're just asking to get scammed frankly, but on LocalBitcoins you have a lot of options, the most prominent of which is cash transfer. Often this can be very useful.
On Bitcointalk the trust system is somewhat broken because account sales are allowed. It means that a lot of accounts with high trust get farmed and sold and people often scam when handling bigger transactions. There are only a few trustworthy users who act as escrow and you'll have to choose one of those and cooperate with your buyer/seller. On LocalBitcoins there's a built-in escrow to keep you safe.
If you don't mind verification, your best option would be Coinbase (if they were fully functional). If you're handling larger amounts, I would actually just wait until Coinbase sort their problems out and then buy from them. It tends to be expensive dealing with credit cards on other places.

I have been using coinbase for a while now, since two thousand and fifteen and I can say they are safe to use.
I believe they are the biggest exchange around, they are licensed and regulated. And It seems like they have been around forever.
Apparently since two thousand and twelve, allows users to buy and sell bitcoins through their credit cards, bank account, paypal and other deposit and withdrawal methods as well.
They serve more than 3.5 million customers from about thirty two countries. Their customer service may suck at times, but at least they are reliable.

Nowadays coinbase fees and trading rate compare with the other exchanges it not up to the mark. You can sell or buy your bitcoin in localbitcoins. This is the legit site where you can find the online traders in your country and sell or buy with the automated escrow. You can find all higher rate to sell out your bitcoin when compare with the chart value.

My easiest and safest way to buy/sell any cryptocurrency is dealing with my local community. I am into a group of more than 50 members who are all my colleagues/friends and friends of their friends. We have a whatsapp group and we will post our requirements and we are getting solid responses all the times as there will be some one always there to buy or to sell bitcoins or any cryptocurrencies.
I guess dealing there will go further smooth and profitable when we will be extending our group into 100/200 members but all are known directly or through a friend. We deal in person using mobile/laptop and for fiats.

You have actually made mention of the legit ones we have around and you have quite done a very good job at that as well. However, there is need for concern for more safety in the case of localbitcoin because I have read report of how people are being scammed via that platform which is beyond the operator of the site but just individuals that use the platform. Also, I use a situation of selling and buying from friends and trusted colleagues as this is just the best way to go without the fear of losing hard earned resources.

Depending on where you live you might be able to buy from Bitcoin ATMs ("BTMs"). I have used three of them in my own city (SE USA) as well as machines in NYC (years ago) and Vancouver (Canada).
There are two issues though:
1) You have to provide ID to satisfy the authorities.
2) The fees are typically very high, the machines I have used typically charge some 14%.
But with they BTMs you do not have to set up meetings with strangers (localbitcoins, I have done that), setting up meetings, driving over and paying the seller's fee (often 5%) makes the BTM option look better in my case.

I heard that we can find certain brand of BTMs which don't check users ID. I believe there were located in Las Vegas. But the fees to buy BTC there were ridiculous, so this not not a good option if just want to test how BTC works. A website where you can see a map with BTMs: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-atms/

I ve had very nice experience with cex.io. However, their price s a bit higher compared to some other exchanges so they re good to use if you want to buy smaller BTC amounts.

Well you can also trying Yobit. It is another old exchange site , you can buy or sell bitcoins there for fiat or crypto currencies. But their support is slow as well. Cex.io and Localbitcoins are trusted , and you can use the exchange scetion of this forum too (but always use escrow service)

Thanks for sharing this thread. I was badly looking for a new wallet home. Coinbase is really getting slow about their support system. I have not tried Gemini any time in past and I will give it a go. Local bitcoins has been around for long time and the user base is huge for them. I like there services and they have good structure maintained in terms of trading P2P bitcoins. They make your money secure by keeping it in their local services. Thats amazing feature for them. Rest I'm not sure really so I will not comment on them. Thanks again for sharing. Hope to see more reviews in coming days.

Here, My choice is cex.io. It has good reputation, I've been using this site for a long time and trading altcoins without any reason. I can suggest you use local bitcoin website which allow in your state. This forum also play great role to buy/sell Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

I had lost 28 bucks when a website suddenly stopped working and it literally looted all the money from different people. They are such a full package of scammers. From then I only use lbc, if you are scared about getting scammed then try choosing verified accounts with phone and id(s).
