[solved] armory initializing forever

bitcoind-qt: 0.14.1

what i tried:
- deleted .armory/database folder
- reinstalled armory
- let armory manage bitcoin on/off (no difference)
- started ./ArmoryDB - let it sit for a while (nothing happens though), started ./ArmoryQT on top -> ArmoryDB crashes


when i start armory without any wallet - it works and shows as online
