Seems entire network is frozen, no transactions are going through.

I'm hearing rumors of people generating the same keys as other wallets and being able to access their coins.

Any news?
An unknown attacker that previously disrupted operations on the ethereum blockchain returned today, but so far to limited effect.

In an effort that was reminiscent of attempts last year that succeeded in slowing down activity on network, the owner of an address associated with the wave of spam attacks is sending commands meant to use up 'gas', ethereum's unit of computational power.
That is bad news from http://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-developers-stymie-blockchain-spammers-latest-attack/
Hope answers your questions.

This is the interesting part from article:

"Within an hour, the popular implementation released a new version called 'Hat Trick', complete with a security fix that changed the structure of some types of data that were being utilized in the new attack.

As of press time, the attacker had not sent transactions from the account for an hour."

That means the attack was largely contained.

Someone technologically illiterate working at that exchange fucked up  and it's somehow platform's problem. You guys are really smart. With that mentality you'll go nowhere but remain poor.

LM_fucking_AO. Behold! That's the typical thinking of an ETH shill - making millions or even billions of $ is a way to prove something is better than others. People like Grigori Perelman (not that he knows who he is) are dumbass motherfuckers, because he's not rich and he lives with his mother, instead of buying 1000 ETH back in 2014 and be a millionaire. I really feel sorry for you, because one can tell you are a lonely soul and a "keyboard warrior". I had enough with you... poor guy.

Where did i say that making more money makes one better ? I was talking about mentality. Twisting things around to fit ones narrative / fud is extremely low. The guy i was addressing took someone's mystake and twisted it around trying to make others believe the platform is bugged lol. But you don't seem to have a problem with that so you're no better than he is. And everything is a scam unless you're invested in it, stupid mofo.

According to social media posts and a subsequent statement from Vancouver-based QuadrigaCX, the issue had to do with a previously used “splitter contract” which was utilized to separate incoming ethers and classic ethers (another cryptocurrency that arose from a blockchain split last year).

That is the new info about the problem on smart contract of ethereum.
