Were you asked a backup password as you installed the app, or is it just me?? What are we supposed to enter? It keeps saying "retry" The Civic app backup password is your password you setup for your phone itselves. In my case it is my backup password to start up my phone. I read somewhere that they will change this in the fututere to pick you own password for the app.

This was the smartest ICO ever. CIVIC has the most fair distribution (no whales). Market caps is not inflated by greedy devs like in others. Nothing obstructs the very healthy price development. Thanks to Vinny Lingham and the rest of a team p.s.Yeah I bought less than I was going to buy but I see no better decisions for the ICO at the moment I agree is is one of the most fair distributions so far and Civic seems to be living up to fan's expectations. But 33% for devs seems .... overly much. But 33million was utterly cheap. Would you have prefered to not keep anything but sell the tripple amount instead? when will people here understand, that a developer witout a big stake in his own product looses his interest in bringing it forward...

Selling my #CIVIC crowdsale place for 1 $BTC
Not much time left to jump in! 3 places left I'm lucky to buy some CVC on day 1. I expected that the demand for this crowdsale is very large, But I didn't that there will a queue on just buying coin. Maybe this the result of congestion on transaction happening on ETH that's why most the ERC20 token crowdsale are experiencing some difficulty. ETH is starting to follow the path of BTC.

Well, just because you have a big stake does mean you won't lose interest. While having a big stakes means greater incentives to make it work, that "interest" can change @ any moment.

I think they introduced those queue option to provide a fair distribution and avoid dirty play accusations Status.im faced after their ICO.

Didn't buy because the ICO was priced insanely high. But I really like the model. It helps people get in, the big guys and the small guys. Amazing model!

First, it's a security issue, as it gives one single app the key to access the phone itself, second: why don't they even take the time to clarify what password the app keeps asking?? It looks like you are asked to choose a new password for the app only, so where is it written it is not the case?? I'm just pissed for I couldn't participate because of such a crappy app and NO support at all

So here's a rookie question (and possibly a rookie mistake). I triple checked the amount I sent (was only able to buy $500). I sent it from Bittrex. Was I supposed to ADD the transaction fee to the amount I sent? I thought that it would send what I actually TYPED IN and take the transaction fee from my account. But now I'm worried.
Though on the confirmation email from Civic, there is a star next to my payment and it says transaction fees may have been deducted from your payment.
So I don't know. Will I just get rejected after spending my entire day figuring this out? Seems counter-intuitive to have to do the math and add the transaction fee after declaring what I wanted to send in the first place. Or am I worrying for nothing?
Hey I did exactly the same thing. The transaction fee made the amount I sent not exact as stated on the deposit page. So I sent the exact amount after. Not sure if this means all of my money will be returned or if the second and correct payment will be accepted. I was thinking about resending but wouldn't you know it, I don't have that amount of bitcoin left in my account. Agh. Waited patiently all day and thought I did it correctly and now I have to worry that it'll just get rejected in the end. And I would gladly send the missing 0.001. Doesn't make sense that Bittrex would send 0.001 less than what I actually entered and asked it to send. Seems counter-intuitive. Or maybe it's fine and I'm wrong. being a rookie is ok but being lazy is not! you should read the crowdsale instruction, it says you can't purchase using any exchange, your coins are lost sorry!

I got my transaction cancelled with the following error message. I would like to attempt to send again but not sure what I would do differently to make it work or if my block of coins is still available to me. Any advice appreciated.
Contract 0x12444b6ec62e616ebc8a23e56e61f8f4c6da610c (CivicCrowdsale) Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad jump destination]
Thanks,
