my coins have not got any confirmations since I received the payment in my wallet.

are these just gone?

Yikes, I put your transaction ID into blockchain.info http://blockchain.info/search?search=440aa87e9afffd59ec6c029523e03dbcfb63dc88007c91abb6e5c201ced95f7d and it didn't find anything.  Blockchain.info even shows unconfirmed transactions so I am not sure what the state of your transaction is.
Did you receive the payment in your wallet or did you mean make the payment from your wallet?  It would seem like your client has not sent the transaction out to the network.

I received the transaction id in the wallet and the payment info it just says unconfirmed with 0/6. know what I mean

Not sure what you mean  Wink  Where you sending the funds or receiving?  Does your client have multiple connections to the network?  Are you up to sync with the blocks?  And finally are you using the main Bitcoint network or testnet?

Not sure what you mean  Wink  Where you sending the funds or receiving?  Does your client have multiple connections to the network?  Are you up to sync with the blocks?  And finally are you using the main Bitcoint network or testnet? 

I was receiving, and my client has 23 connections and im up to sync.

and im using the main bitcoin network
