^^^Woah
Got no idea wat the spent and unspent means
my txn is not that low in comparison to others - transfering 0.05 BTC with a 0.005 fee...not the thread for it here but unclear why someone else's transaction is slowing mine donw
anyway - thanks in advance!!
This is a common misconception. The fee is not based on the transferred value, it's only dependant on the size of the transaction (in bytes). The size of the transaction only depends on the number of inputs and outputs, not their value. Manually calculating a fee is something that's better left to more experienced users (imho), i'd suggest picking a good, decent wallet and following it's advice regarding fees. If you have no clue about inputs and outputs, don't try to pick your own fee, cause you'll end up in the situation where you payed 0.005 BTC as a fee for a 0.05 BTC transaction, and honestly believe the fee *has* to be sufficient... But that's not how it works i'm afraid... I could sure use some help to please.
I made a mistake calculating my transaction fee and my transaction is stuck unconfirmed.
Transacation ID : 70e55204a89aa77f85503edc728ee075f61d86071e0e482732127979e45ed2d5
Hoping some kind person can help me as well.
I have submitted it to antpool, but i don't think a 1 sat/byte transaction will have a decent chance with them either... ViaBTC doesn't accept a 1 sat/byte tx Other options: http://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=70e55204a89aa77f85503edc728ee075f61d86071e0e482732127979e45ed2d5

EDIT: have accelerated the parent (89ff18b4276fac5d78cf2cbd67a74c70e61ce95ffeb9cf665c5ecb285790ec38) Parent is now confirmed, will work on the original transaction next. Transaction ID: d1eace47800b823bd602a072d895aaf261c844532bead5da54f41c6f9595bb5b
EDIT: Done... and confirmed Included In Blocks 498670 ( 2017-12-11 04:09:10 + 5,621 minutes ) Relayed By ViaBTC
Working on it... but I think the large size is making it difficult to get into ViaBTC, it takes 5-10 seconds to parse it... and by that time the 100 slots are full All the other transactions get accepted first click! Transacation ID : 70e55204a89aa77f85503edc728ee075f61d86071e0e482732127979e45ed2d5
Your transaction fee is too low... it is only 1 sat/byte... ViaBTC will not accept this... a lot of the nodes are actually saying that it doesn't meet min-relay-fee... so your transaction has not propagated well. This transaction is NOT going to be confirmed any time soon... my advice would be to wait for it to fully drop and try again. Or try a "Child Pays For Parent" if you control either: 1BgBqVoxU7hua3rEDzdw2ConK3QDaqW1e4 or 181L4B2PzkrSBpV14WKtPUke99xeQ5ztYa

I'll push it to viaBTC in 23 minutes (at least, i'll try to push it to ViaBTC, their quota is usually met in a matter of seconds). Since it has 17 sat/byte, viaBTC *should* accept it.

Rectified situation: I will never let this happen again. I sent the fee that electrum suggested. In the future, how can I calculate an appropriate fee to ensure the transaction will be confirmed?
Thank you so much

All pending requests were added to antpool's priority queue... However, since this queue is heavily abused, chances are it'll take a long time before the tx's are added to a block. This is why i'll push those transactions to viaBTC's pool to, all exept bitcoinhelpforum's transaction: this transaction only has a 3 sat/byte fee and will not be accepted by ViaBTC
@bitcoinhelpforum, i think that, in your case, it would be wise to attempt a CPFP (since you're the receiver). This is a feature that is embedded in most recent versions of electrum... Could you verify if this is also the case in the version you're running? To verify if your wallet allows you to create a CPFP, just go to the history tab, right click on the stuck transaction and see if there is an option available called "child pays for parent"

Hi, I am in need of help for a stuck bitcoin transaction that has been stuck over 10 days because no miner will pick it up do to what I believe is the low usage on the site and volume overload. The transaction can only be found on chain.so website. It has 0 confirmations and 0 confidence right now. I have been waiting for it to post to the address it's supposed to go to. I would even be willing to pay if someone can mine this for me. The TXID can't be sent to a BTC accelerator because it is only found on the chain.so/api website.
The TXID is 75372ecb768ae89ee4736dba65529a5a543a7c1198083a3e344f22efabfa6eeb found on chain.so/api
Sender is 38ZQfki1wQAGGHp1mVrvaTSxAWf2dNuJcg
Receiving Address is 185tmf1NLtMB3xMGBJQB8KiZuDVubRP8we on Coinbase
If someone can assist me I would be soo grateful and have no problem sending money for a thank you! I just am so bummed this transaction won't process and I can't get help because it is through chain.so/api
I would be so grateful if anyone can help push this through and will pay for it to be processed!

There are 3 possibility's here: 1) make sure your wallet stops rebroadcasting your transaction, wait untill most nodes dropped your tx from their mempool, rescan/repair your wallet and re-create the transaction 2) try to re-broadcast your raw transaction: 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
just google for "bitcoin transaction broadcast", and use these online tools... However, with a 6 sat/byte fee, chances are slim your transaction will be picked up by a miner, which brings us to point 3 3) pay somebody to include your tx into the block they're working on... but first make sure you completed step 2, those payed transaction accelerator services won't work if your tx isn't in their mempool. viabtc.com, btc.com, macbook-air (bitcointalk) or quickseller (bitcointalk) can help you out with payed acceleration transaction id:e6ee09d2ed0aaeb2b158dd61e200e2090481d9264d847fb24229ebf075af7216 sender/receiver: sender and receiver addresses: 1HiLVBFu9cXDMq4y4vLCNL6Tf6XC7aDNwp is my address, 13uYDd8ToLRvyHYxJEpbFniCVSSS8qgvgJ is the sender's address (and his change address to) wallet software: Breadwallet on iOS mempool: yes, i have checked http://www.mocacinno.com/page/getraw, entered my transaction id, and i was shown the raw transaction, so this transaction is in your mempool something strange: no, i have checked for unconfirmed parents, dust outputs and double spends on blockchain.info, and could not find any anomalies rectified situation: yes, in the future i'll use dynamic fees, and set the slider all the way to the right AND i'll use http://www.mocacinno.com/page/feeestimate for a second opinion
Since the fee is lower than 10 sat/byte, i can only push it to antpool, which is heavily abused lately and doesn't offer a big chance of getting your tx in their blocks... But as a hail mary shot, i've pushed your tx towards them. I'd suggest trying to create a CPFP, or create a transaction double spending the inputs of your transaction (to bad, your tx hasn't opted in for RBF). To be honest, i don't have a clue how to create, sign or broadcast transactions with breadwallet

Thank you for your reply. I will try your suggestions if I can, but I think I'm limited. This BTC was from OALEND Coin (which is an ICO) withdrawal, so I have no control over the sending of it. They do and they won't seem to help me. I don't know why they choose chain.so to process the transactions because apparently there are major delays. I had no say in the miner fee. I feel at a loss here and have reached out to macbook-air and hope he can help somehow.
I'm still new to understanding mining and such, but I know enough that this is a frustrating situation.

Hi, I'm a newbie in need help of pushing this TX thru... I have already waited for 5 days, thanks to the lending platform company who paid so little in the tx fee. I don't know why but I cant find the tx info from blockchain website but it can be found here instead : https://chain.so/tx/BTC/253bb7e9a30d9158b36bb686d4ce2d75b009e8e7246b81fc583235942dbce04fthis is the senders wallet : 38ZQfki1wQAGGHp1mVrvaTSxAWf2dNuJcg This is my wallet : 19kkgcf3rCeWbWjFAmonvsiRbJSWQpDwHP The amount that is still pending for me is 0.31025333 . So I'm hoping u are able to use whatever that is necessary and without me losing too much on the BTC. Im more than happy to pay 100usd for your kind help & time.
