the symbol is COVFEFE, which should appear automatically once you input the token address in the right place.. 
this won't work on JAXX or Exchanges...

1. i'm not asking for eth, i'm asking -  not to lose the transaction fee -  which for some reason, as a noob who just sends stuff is 0.045 eth..
2. you are correct that that's a lot i guess in usds right now..
3. the mist wallet is an absolute nightmare for anyone who's not a programmer  (meaning besides a basic store of eth)

If you're using myetherwallet, you have to make sure to add custom token and put in the COVFEFE asset address and details:

Decimal 3

I see my COVFEFE in my wallet.  But I only see 10, not 10,000.  I think you might have made a mistake or mixed up something with the 3 decimal places.  But I only see 10.  Please send the other 9,990.

This coin has a lot of potential.  It's a blank canvass, we can build anything out of it.
