You couldn't invest even if you really wanted to, it sold out in 30 seconds or something like that.

BAT is to be used with Brave Browser, the CEO of Brave software also invented JavaScript and co-founded Mozilla.

I'm not saying BAT is a good investment or their business plan is solid, but at least they're as legit as they come.

The problem is that 5 people bought for 80% of the total BAT token during ICO.

I wanted to buy some but now I don't think it will be easy to have some tokens at ICO price because if those people hold the price will only rise...

The investors look madness with ICOs. BAT get fully successful on his ICO in less than 1 minutes.
Some of the funding projects are having a lot of shares of BAT token. Too many whales on BAT and that makes little investors can't participate in the crowd sale and it's not a scam in my opinion.
Just try to keep my eyes on its project.

This is also the reason I am quite disappointed since I am waiting for this coin and expecting to join their ICO. Sad to say, it seems they are only buying the coin and do not want to share to everyone else. I slowly bought at Liqui now...

Smells very shady and dishonest project. The ICO ended in 30 seconds! Can you imagine? 35 ml USD was raised in 30 seconds!

Insiders bought all the coins and now they will sell them on higher prices and dump on you. So stay away from BAT as well as from Gnosis. Both are scam projects!

I don't think it's necessarily a scam.

Some projects seek private investors to intentionally out-muscle small investors.

Other projects value the community effort and like to see an even spread of investment.

I like to think Bitcoin and Satoshi's vision was to harness the power of community and distributed investment, and something like Brave and BAT goes against that.

It is sad, because it could have been the opposite.

Just a footnote... do not write off Mozilla, or Microsoft, getting in on this game.

I cant say bat is a scam, they definitely have big name devs backing their project. I think they will just take some time in the crypto world before getting fully on their feet.

It is not scam.Developed by Firefox creator.You can install his Brave browser and see how it works,i think many people will use Brave,Brave much more take care of user privacy than Google

I heard that the chrome extension will allow you to be rewarded in BAT for clicking on ads, I guess like adsense.

Or was this FUD? If not, it seems like a decent way to make money.

It is by no means a scam. However, do your research this only works if you use their browser. There are some big names tied to this product so I would say it is at least as secure as any new coin can be.
