Complex technical problems are obtained with these wallets. Is this related to the updates?

Steady as she goes. All markets are flat right now. Hope to see a boost in CRM in the coming weeks.  Wink

I like that graphic! Glad to see wallet improvements too.

Is it necessary to update wallets, even if not running a node? my old one works fine lol

Creamcoin update, new wallets — Masternode ROI increased

The concept of a CREAM masternode is giving the opportunity to the operators to receive monetary rewards for running this CREAM node, yet they also need to provide a financial stake of their own. It is due time we take a closer look at CREAM masternode , exactly why this concept so far in Cream protocol was too low in rewards ?

I have updated my master node and I see the new rewards are already coming in. Things seem to be working as they should.

Honored customer, we have very good news.
(By the way, this is the first message of three that you might receive in this matter)
Last year, we made the tough decision to close down Nova, because it was growing so fast that we could not keep up and run the service in a proper and secure way.
But, we never stopped looking for a way to keep Nova in business.
We are very happy to announce that we have found new owners, that have the resources and the experience it takes (6+ years in crypto) to provide even more excellent service to you all.
All you need to do to keep using Nova, right now, and later on, is to log in and approve the updated Terms of Service, here https://novaexchange.com/

Best Wishes to you all, and happy crypto trading.

Sooo ...

The ports have changed to - the same as before?

Is there a version number we can follow here? We cannot see what the new version may be in Git due to it not being published neither here nor there. It just makes life a lot more simpler for us when we compile and keep previous versions and updates in sequence.

We are compiling the new daemon for the CWI-Pool CreamCoin now and will update the pool system with the new daemon as soon as testing of the new daemon is finished.

http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/crm/index.php?page=dashboard

If there are in fact changes to the ports and/or the setup (especially .conf file) please inform us of these changes as soon as possible.

Thanks for the great work.

The concept of a CREAM masternode is giving the opportunity to the operators to receive monetary rewards
This is basic characteristic of all masternode coin, not only CREAM. More masternodes in the network, lower ROI for each one.

Much Appreciated ...

Compiling and updating CWI-Pool CreamCoin now.

Please excuse the few minutes interruption we will have during the upgrade, to all the miners on our pool. This interruption will be momentary and mining will resume as soon as the daemon is installed and tested.

Thanks, i followed the description, but the compilation still does not work.
The failure is:

bignum.h: In function ‘bool operator>(const CBigNum&, const CBigNum&)’:
bignum.h:720:83: error: cannot convert ‘const CBigNum*’ to ‘const BIGNUM* {aka const bignum_st*}’ for argument ‘1’ to ‘int BN_cmp(const BIGNUM*, const BIGNUM*)’
 operator>(const CBigNum& a, const CBigNum& b)  { return (BN_cmp(&a, &b) > 0); }
                                                                       ^
makefile.unix:217: die Regel für Ziel „obj/alert.o“ scheiterte
make: *** [obj/alert.o] Fehler 1

Could anybody please advice what to do? Or maybe there is somewhere a binary which run on Ubuntu 16.04, Intel, 64 Bit
Thanks.

Thanks.

problem appears to system with openssl version >=1.1.0 due to changes in BIGNUM function.

solved this by installing these packages:

libssl1.0-dev
libssl1.0.2

or as workaround add the following to /etc/apt/sources.list

# jessie-backports, from stretch-level but with no dependencies
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian/ jessie-backports main contrib non-free
deb-src http://httpredir.debian.org/debian/ jessie-backports main contrib non-free

Then run sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get remove libssl-dev and then sudo apt-get install -t jessie-backports libssl-dev to get the version expected until we upgrade the code.

or try to run this binary: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jK2j88yY2MvXQ89EIcqY8HvxSezd_otR
