Verge is one of those coins that are reliable and promising. I think it is good to buy right now since the price is dumping a little bit, a little more than 5%. In a year, this XVG coin will for sure break the $1 mark and continue upwards.

That's right. XVG is a good coin with an active dev-team. But reaching 1$ per coin is absolute utopian at the moment and for the near future. Statements like this creating hopes, which can't fulfilled. And this is bad for everyone, who'll buy coins with such a demand. In the end, you'll have a community full of disappointment and anger. So if you want to kill the market of a coin, spread wrong hopes like this...
 
In my opinion, the coin is undervalued. Yes. A marketcap of 100 - 200 M should be realistic. Means x10. To expect more in these days is nuts. First this coin needs to be more well-known. And we have to move on with the roadmap. If both will happen, there can be a mc of 400-500M in the early 2018. Means 0.04$ per coin and a x20 related to the latest price.

I would be  more than happy with USD 0.04 per coin. But I also think, it won't go any higher than that.

I think one thing that boosts the price of the coin is if the dev doesn't take too much for himself and kind of gets lazy about it and stops working, not just in coding but in organizing marketers.  I saw the jump today in price and it's just not up very high.   Maybe build a real team by doing some airdrops/bounties out of your own pocket, dev?  

I really hope this one at least has a decent pump if it's not going way up.

I always try to see the things around the crypto-market conservative, so it is hard for me to think about a marketcap of 16.5B for Verge ... possible - yes. No question: I love the coin and the project! But 1$ per XVG looks a bit extreme for me at the moment. A lot of work has to be done, until we'll reach this mark. If 2019 will be the year to refuel the rocket - we'll see.

just applying quick common sense, if more than 81% are already mined/ available in actual people's hand, to buy the coin it has to through exchange will result in less inflation.... I hope, its a plus if you want to compare with Ripple

I just hope the XVG can reach 1000sts by the end of 2017 because of this market is very stable and they have a professional development team. I think the upcoming XVG will be one of 20 altcoin with the best market capitalization.

LOL! That is too big. I would be happy if Verge will even break $2 per XVG. That is amazing already for me. How I wish we can reach that pretty soon. It is better if we start with the near future and not with the next centuries to come.

I always knew about Verge last month and was able to buy it with averaging the last price I bought it was at 85 sats if only I knew this coin earlier then I would put a lot of money with it. Xvg is still cheap with a very big potential and strong community too so I think this coin will skyrocket maybe until 600 sats by end of the year.
