This is the truth behind those pump and dump groups on which the people who do bought already the most number of coins will surely make money and those people who did just joined or bought will really be left behind experiencing lose of money for sure. This is why its really risky to think off on joining these groups. I would rather trade on my own.
Maybe do it with your own, joining in altcoins pumps group is not advisable especially when your co-members were newly in the industry I can't means all but most of the time.
