Hi mates, I am following LTC since a few weeks and currently AntMiner L3+ new batch is open to pre-orders that will be shipped on Sept. However, since yesterday the difficult went high at LTC and the machine was mining 1.02 LTC/Day yesterday and now it's mining 0.9 according to calculators when new difficulty entered to the requested area.

I wonder what may happen on September when our devices are shipped, do you have any idea and/or experience with LTC, should I order L3+ device which will be shipped on September 2017? I believe since that time difficulty will go higher and L3+ will be mining 0.6 LTC/day which is really low.

What do you recommend me? Any helps or answers appreciated.

Thank you so much.

Keep in mind that they are not selling L3+ for you to make money or "help" decentralization. They sell it so they can make alot of profit, by selling them at a prohibitive price. That being said, if the price stays the same, in a few months when everyone will start mining with L3, the curent ROI of ~3 months ( more or less, calculated on cryptocompare.com ) will probably become 1 year in the fall, conservative estimation.

That means, yes, you will make profit, but it will be small and most likely not sustainable long term because new asics will be released by then and not long before you make some decent profit, you'll have to invest again. So unless you go big, this will be a pocket change. Also electricity cost matters.

there is still much profit to make with this gear, i guess it's worth buying it now, if it's available, but the last news say the next batch is on july 15, so you won't be able to buy it for now, this thing have the same efficiency of the big brother L3 without the "+", they share same profitability, their profit now is equal to baikal a 900 giant, but a-900 giant consume onyl 200watt, if you can find a-900 giant second hand it's better

Thank you very much sirs.

So ordering now and being delivered at Sept. is not going to make too much profit BUT you say it's always better to order the product at first batch, right?

I take difficulty 600000 and it's still making 0.82 BTC a day one machine when calculated. 600k diff is an assume on sept or november... So I think it will be a good chance to test mining things for me but I shouldn't expect too much thing as far as I understand. Smiley
