Gunman in Resorts World Manila

Im from the Philippines,  and I heard and watch almost all of the videos and cctv footage of this. At the same I used to play at Resorts World Manila as well. The place is literaly full of fun and you can feel how free is the country of the Philippines. Until this gunman came, and break all the happiness and fun at Resorts World. This violent act doesnt seem a terorist act but its a suicidal act in which he wants to scared people to death. Like he wants someone to be with him on his last hour in the world. Lets just pray for the souls of the innocent who died in the incident and I hope every casino should provide a better security not only always the money. 

Some casinos think that they don't need any security as people will be thinking that there'll be a heavy security and in that deception some cranked up guys do this kind of shi*. It's horrific to watch even the CCTV footages. May God give peace to all the Innocents who died in this tragic incidents and I hope it'll not affect the tourism of Philippines.

I am very much impressed with what's happening in the Philippines. When I look on TV or on the Internet, What a good resort and tourism are simply fascinating. I always wanted to go and she's there. And now I do not even know how or what to think about this country. I hope that all these tragic events will soon cease.

Just saw the CCTV clips from Resorts World. Gunman burned those luxury tables and slots machines. This is the first time I saw what's inside the casino and Im really stunned with those luxuries. But all those things turned to ashes. At the end of the clip, the gunman I think was shot by a person that is standing on the fire exit where the suspect go just few minutes ago before the arrival of the backups. They both surprised when they see each other. Hopefully they have the CCTV of gunman entering the room where he burned himself so that we can know that this is not his double and he is really the one who burned.

Some people are retarded questioning how the gunman entered the building with a gun without them realizing that as soon as the gunman entered the building, he is already on attack mode exactly at the entrance. What do you expect for those people in charge, will talked to this guy? Good thing they run so they report it quick to the authorities.

If you are not familiar with RW Manila, then before you can enter, its still a long walk before the actual casino entrance. I haven't seen the video's yet. But If I'm assuming he used the main entrance, there are already security personnel there, frisking you checking your bags and even a metal detectors before you can finally go to the casino proper. Even if you used the second floor entrance, security was there. If they were able to frisk him and see that he has a gun, then the casualties can be lessen I think. I don't know if this is the worst casino attack on recorded history. Main thing though is that the security in front don't have guns. All high powered personnel was always in the outside. Its a casino dude, a lot of cameras, and those watching eye in the sky should have caught him and reported to the police and to the security personnel that have high powered guns. That is a casino for Christ sake, securities should be tighter than a bank. Again, I haven't see the footage yet but I think RW is to blame here.

And yeah, the gunman entered the building walking straight inside, he did not walk through the Metal detectors, if you ask me, he just entered like a boss, the security tried to stop the guy but she can't because she don't have a gun, then run to the casino where he sees another SG, but these SG didn't shoot because there are a lot of people around them. And that time, he started to run to the casino,burn the tables and steal chips.

He is not crazy, he is just depressed on what is happening in his life. Having a big debt, losing your insurance and stuffs, that is really so depressing. We can't blame the casino or gambling, they are not the main reason why he is addicted to it, it is himself that brought his self to these. I think he is not ready to consequences that he will face because of his addiction.

This is what moral vacuum does to you - make you a victim of various addictions. When the man lost his false god in form of money, his life had ended. We can only speculate, if the outcome could be different from the moment he decided to fill hole in his heart with paper.

That is the reason why our President, President Rodrigo Duterte ask the RWM, why there are no exits especially on VIP rooms where most of the people died. And we all know how presumptuous Filipino is, and that is the reason for more panic. We can't literally calm down in these kind of situations, the reason why there are stampedes.

So much for the "be calm every emergency situation". Most Filipinos are scared of such thing, attacks, bombings even killings and crimes. Philippines is a peaceful country to begin with, they don't like people being killed, that is the reasin they panicked. Security is the reason why these incident happen, and we can blame the building for having a closed room without exits.

I don't think that they have any choice. The casino chips can be worth up to tens of thousands of USD. What happens if someone creates a melee, and flees with a few dozen casino chips? That is why the entrance and exit is under tight control and monitoring.

Yes. The one that guard the entrance has no gun. He/She was just there to monitor the people entering. So when she saw the gunman she just ran. But want I don't understand is that why is the casino security was too late to stop the gunman? That's why I still believed that RW is liable to this accidents. And I think the victim's relatives are going to file a class suit against the casino. The many deaths should have prevented, if they are quick to react.

It was really quite funny how ISIS was quick to jump into the situation taking responsibility for what was happening even before any legitimate information was out. Goes to show that they would do anything just to be feared even stooping down to the pathetic level of acknowledging things not even connected to them. They didn't release any statements anymore when it was proven that it was a lone casino addict gone mad.
