Hello. My question is where are the Bitcoins sold on the wallets online ? I ask this because when I check the Balance of my Bitcoin Address on Blockchain.info I notice that I am at Zero (0 BTC) so I have about 0.0005689 BTC on this Account when I am logged in to the Wallet of the Address.
So how to explain this please ? Why is the Balance of my Bitcoin Address on Blockchain.info different from that of the Online Wallet (freebitco.in) ?
Thank you for answering me.

Did you send a transaction to the wallet recently? If so, it could just be an unconfirmed transaction which has appeared in your wallet but has not received enough transactions on blockchain.info. Alternatively, that is a faucet wallet and so their deposit address might be different to the address in which your coins are right now.

Faucets do not pay you immediately, and the Bitcoin you have in that online wallet is still property of the site. You don't own it, because it hasn't been transferred to your own wallet and it just exists as numbers on a website. If there is never a transfer of value there is also never a change in the number. You can't just use public keys anywhere and expect for them to just gain value.

It means that you didn't withdrawed bitcoins from freebitco.in to blockchain.info wallet. So far you have bitcoins only on faucet ballance and this is why your blockchain.info account shows 0 bitcoins on ballance.

You can't just use public keys anywhere and expect for them to just gain value. Maybe the addresses of freebitco.in are not valid but in this case, why when I try to make a Deposit on this address Freebitco.in address, I receive a few minutes (or hours) after the sum deposited ? Why the Address of the Freebitco.in Wallet automatically receives Bitcoin Deposits through the Address of my Freebitco.in Account but the Balance of that same Address is Zero (0 BTC) when checking, we only see the list Of transactions (Deposits made) on Blockchain.info but the Final Balance remains at zero (0 BTC) ? Thank you for making me understand this.

To be honest that used to happen to me all the time and it puzzled me a lot. Basically it is even harder then to spend your bitcoins from one address, if you want to do that you need to export the private keys somehow then. That's why I don't like blockchain wallet anymore.

That's really normal I guess in my opinion I don't really know the correct answer why it is not the same but it is also happening to me and I don't really care but sometimes it say correctly sometimes not maybe some errors in the blockchain or traffic data happening.

IT is also happening to me and dont know to why the blockchain display a wrong data in my address sometime blockchain tell that i have almost 200$ in my account but not really i guess blockchain is always having an error with so many information getting in the site.

HERE IS A QUESTION FOR EVERYONE RE: BLOCKCHAIN.INFO:
Why did my receiving address change once I received a payment to this address?
I use many different wallets, currently testing them all out and have multiple steps of security along the way (ie. backup, ULTRAsecure passwords, etc) but just wondering why my receiving address would change once something got deposited into it?
Weird eh? Or not?

because freebitco.in is not a bitcoin wallet, they are running a faucet. them calling themselves a wallet doesn't make them a wallet. they are doing this to attract more funds to their website, it is even possible that they have encountered some money problems supplying the faucet and keeping it running. and when you send to the address that site gives you, the balance goes there but since they control the private keys they move the funds from that address to another and just credit your account. so when you check the address on an explorer you see the balance at zero. because what happens on chain has nothing to do with your "account on that site".
@johndoe784r read what address reuse is! https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address_reuseall the wallets must do this, when you use one key you shouldn't use it ever again. in fact this is one thing blockchain.info does right!

hi pooya87,
weird - I never really gave much thought to it as I have been mining to the same address, and see that they specifically list this:
"Notable offenders Some notable Bitcoin software and services encourage or require address reuse: Many bitcoin mining pools"
I deposit to many different wallets and just now I happened to notice this on blockchain... Wasn't intending to keep on blockchain anyways but transfer to a more preferable secure wallet (ie. hardware wallet).
Why do some people then have the same receiving address posted in their signature for example? Or for tips?
Hmm... much to think on...
Thanks,
-jd

I think there are two or three probabilities,
* You have either not sent bitcoins to your wallet from the source site where you bought or earned the bitcoins. i.e -faucet.
* They might have included low fees, and thus your transaction is still pending (However you can check any pending transactions by entering your wallet address).
* You might have entered the wrong address.
It would be great if you can post your address here then we can help you to identify if it's second case or not.

Bro, Freebitcoin.io is not an a online wallet, it's a faucet, it doesn't mean that if you have balance there it would automatically put in your wallet address. Just wait until you get the maximum number of bitcoin on that site and you can withdraw it.

You have an online account, not an online wallet. They may call it a wallet, but your bitcoins are just an entry in a database. They store all the bitcoins in their wallet. The address that you are looking at is just a deposit address. When you send bitcoins to it, they record the deposit in their database and then they do whatever they want with the bitcoins.

Why did my receiving address change once I received a payment to this address?
That is normal behavior. Most wallets now only use an address once for increased privacy.

I think you are getting yourself confused here. Blockchain.info is a totally different Web wallet from freebitco.in even if you used the same email to open them. They both have totally different wallet address so you should treat them as totally different wallet unless you transfer your bitcoin from one into one. Freebitcoin is more of a faucet, with integrated wallet. You can find your wallet address when you click on deposit. Moreover, even if you put your blockchain wallet during registration of freebitcoin, you will need to reach the threshold before you can receive payment into your main wallet. If I got you right, this should answer your question and don't hesitate to message me if you need more clarification.

You are just confused to your situation. First of all, blockchain.info doesn't have connection with freebitco.in and you are checking your wallet which is the main wallet for your storing and you are just comparing freebitco.in balance with your empty wallet, if you want to get that amount from freebitco.in then withdraw it and transfer it to your wallet.
