Im not askign of sites that ask to view videos or do stuff, but simpel faucets where you put captcha or wait a bit on page, and get bitcoins.
How do they make money as i assume there must be catch somewhere.

The ones I've seen either have ads on the page that are supposed to pay for new coins to put into the faucet, or sometimes they are supported by a mining pool and the operator runs the faucet to drive traffic to the pool.

you can use the captcha from one user to do other things with another user on another site... well that's just an idea  Grin

when bytecoin came out, i mined about 500 of them - it was more than enough to run the faucet in the beginning. it was never meant for the long run, but I figured that if bytecoin would take off, it would be possible to run it with ads.. well, the coin seems to be dead now for anyway & i'm off to make some payments from the faucet, haven't done it in days

Very many profit at http://doge.pool.digiraha.ee

Most "faucets" are a scam to get you to click on ads and pay you nothing but unspendable dust. They are pale imitations of the original Bitcoin faucet.

I've personally put about 10000 coins in this faucet, and it still gives out coins, no strings attached: http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/

There is usually lists for bitcoin faucets and other free sites but imo they are not worth it

I reckon you could spend a hell of a long time in a year to only earn maybe $20 worth of coins.

May as well get a part time job for one week and invest all your earnings into bitcoin...
