to be honest I never tried betting on CSGO or any other e-game before so if you are experienced I really hope that you can educate us more
is it possible to make +EV bets on such games and events ?? and have you done that yourself ?
I find the idea of betting on such games fun but not sure if we can bet on them professionally
isn't it easy to rig the games in such events ?
There is a lot of +EV bets in esports, in particular in CSGO. In my opinion, you can get the juiciest odds in csgo. I personally have made a lot of money solely betting on CSGO, I have been gambling on CSGO for 3/4 years now. The high tier games are very unlikely to have any rigging, however rigging in some of the low tier games is very possible and it is something you have to take into account.
G2 v SKIf you have any questions regarding this match feel free to message me here, post on this thread or post on my website
CSGOAnalyst
Map Thoughts- G2 default ban is Mirage, so will be very unlikely to be played
- SK default ban is Nuke, so also very unlikely to be played.
- Cache may be banned, neither team loves it
- Cobble is G2s best map and I favour them on it
- Neither team loves Inferno, may be banned or 3rd map. I slightly favour G2
- Again, neither team loves Train, may be banned or be the 3rd map.
- I slightly favour SK on Overpass. G2 did beat fnatic on it, but that is the only noticable win.
Team Thoughts- SK had a weak start to the tournament, but came out looking very strong against mousesports.
- fallen has been excellent this event, he seems to be back to his old self
- coldzera is the best player in the world
- G2 have also looked strong this tournament
- I slightly favour SK, however the odds @ 1.55 aren't great. I don't see much value in it.
Map BetsNuke: 3u G2 to win @ 2.202
Inferno: skip
Cache: 1u SK -2.5 @ 1.8
Train: 1u SK -1.5 @ 1.8
Mirage: 4u SK -2.5 @ 1.8
Overpass: 1u SK -2.5 @ 1.80
Cobble: 2u G2 to win @ 2.202
Series BetsIf 2 of the 3 maps are Cobble/Nuke then go 2u G2 to win @ 2.5
If the first 2 maps are Mirage/Overpass go 2u SK -1.5 @ 2.8
Red Reserve v Outlaws (BO3) // Farmskins ChampionshipsRed Reserve is the better team here, but Outlaws have capabilities to upset on a few maps. I like Red Reserve to win, but odds aren't great.
Outlaws are a solid team and they can upset. cerq is their stand out player, however all players a pretty good. Outlaws have solid firepower.
Red Reserve is a great team and they have been performing well with maikelele in the team. Relaxa and freddyfrog are the 2 standout players for Red Resere. Red Reserve have been on an excellent run, losing only 1 of their last 5 games.
One issue is with toh1o who I believe is their manager. He will be standing in for spellan (according to hltv), this could be wrong, we will find out.
Both teams share a similar map pool.
Red Reserves map pool consists of Cobble, Train, Overpass and Mirage.
Outlaws map pool: Inferno, Train, Cobble, Overpass & Mirage
Outlaws Bans: Nuke, Cache, Inferno (I quite like Outlaws on Inferno though)
Map BetsCobble: 1u RR -2.5 @ 1.885 on Nitrogen Sports
Train: 1u Over 26.5 round @ 1.985 on Nitrogen Sports
Overpass: skip any map bet.
Mirage: 1u RR -2.5 @ 1.885 on Nitrogen Sports
Inferno: 1u Outlaws to win @ 2.241 on Nitrogen Sports
Nuke: 1u RR -2.5 @ 1.885 on Nitrogen Sports
Series BetsIf 2 of the 3 maps are Nuke, Cobble, Mirage take 1u RR @ 1.5
If the first 2 maps are Nuke, Cobble, Mirage take 2u RR -1.5 @ 2.5
North v Liquid Prediction // ESL Pro League (BO3)I favour North in this matchup. It is possible they may lose a map, but I doubt they will lose 3. One issue is Norths odds, they are low and not juicy enough to bet on them to win the series.
Liquid has looked strong. Twistz has had a few nice plays, JDM has been going off and is looking strong. I like the way Liquid have looked. Liquid did beat North in a BO1, against North on Cobble. However, that matchup was pointless for North because they had already qualified. Liquid have only lost 3 games so far.
North has also been looking very strong, they finished top of their group and moved straight to the semi-finals. North finished their group losing only 1 game against Liquid. I love Konfig and think he is a great player, the best on North. Aizey has been a bit meh, not much to say about him. I do worry though, occasionally MSL can be seen top fragging which is never a good sign.
Norths map pool consists of Cobble/Overpass/Mirage
Liquids map pool consists of Nuke/Train/Cobble/Inferno
I personally favour Liquids map pool here.
Map Bets:Nuke: 2u Liquid to win @ 2.666 on Nitrogen Sports
Inferno: 1.5u Liquid +3.5 @ 1.885 on Nitrogen Sports
Cache: 0.5u North to win @ 1.46 on Nitrogen Sports
Train: 3u Liquid to win @ 2.666 on Nitrogen Sports
Mirage: skip
Overpass: 2u North -3.5 @ 1.885 on Nitrogen Sports
Cobble: 0.5u North to win @ 1.46 on Nitrogen Sports
Series Bets:If 2 of the 3 maps are Nuke, Train, Inferno then go 2u Liquid @ 3
If the first 2 maps are Overpass, Cache, Cobble then go 1u North -1.5 @ 2.281
