Nice. Now I can get a wallet on my work machine as well as my home one.

It's also encouraging to see others volunteering to help the PPCoin project... another sign of growth.

I'm on travel, so I don't have access to my home machine right now. When I get home though I'll arrange to provide them to you via an alternate link.

It works fine for me, no issue so long. I'm working on OS X 10.8.3.

First I tried to download ppcoin-qt with Opera on any OS, without success. Then with Camino on Mac, message says browser is too old. Last with Firefox on Ubuntu Linux, that worked fine.

Created wallet, downloaded blockchain, received some coins, configured some items, all went well.

Created receiving  addresses, encrypted the wallet, received some coins, sent some coins, works as known from other clients.

Am I possible to mint PoS-blocks, like on Ubuntu Linux?

Yes, the process for unlocking the wallet is the same as on other platforms. You'll find your ppcoin.conf in ~/Library/Application\ Support/PPCoin/.

Ok I found the Issue. I originally downloaded the .dmg file through Safari which installed but didn't seem to open. So i re-downloaded it again through Firefox and now it is up and running.
Thanks ZPK for clarifying that it is up and running on your system.

Hey guys, thanks for the updates here.  I also originally downloaded this with Safari and couldn't get it to work on Mavericks, and was somewhat stymied by what was going on.  It is somewhat curious why it wasn't working, but I think I've finally got it figured out.

Despite my earlier warnings about Safari and Mega.nz, it seems that they have now implemented a Flash workaround so you CAN now download with Safari (if you have Adobe Flash installed and working).

HOWEVER, it seems like Mavericks (and/or Safari 7) is trying to be extra clever here and is actually blacklisting or sandboxing the executable somehow, so even if you download the .DMG correctly from Mega, the OS won't let you run the .app.  It actually gave me some error like "this executable is damaged" and recommended it be Trashed, which I'd never seen before.

This is probably some new Mavericks security "feature" that (usually) protects us dummy Mac users from doing something stupid like this and hurting ourselves.

The curious part is when I was checking out the original .DMG from Safari, I did a:

md5 /Users/----/Downloads/PPcoin-Qt.dmg
MD5 (/Users/----/Downloads/PPcoin-Qt.dmg) = 295a2a0f6d1dc845bc9dbd029c48e0d0

so Safari IS actually downloading the file correctly from Mega, but the OS is obviously sandboxing it somehow from somewhere else.

So I went and dled the exact same file, from the exact same link with Chrome and it installed and ran fine.  Again, the exact same file, with the exact same MD5 hash, but I guess by going thru Chrome the OS doesn't know to flag it as dangerous.

Very curious, but I suppose I feel safer?
