which one of these would you pick if you were trying out mining for the first time and if not any of them which other 7970 would you choose and why.  I am interested in mining of either ltc or whatever is the most profitable or makes the most sense i guess.  Any advice is appreciated.

which one is a good one i thought the 7970 is what everyone is using and has a good HSrate compared to other cards out there

7950's are what most people use.
