Android app i have made to make it easier to stay uptodate with latest btc news

Hello, I'm very interested in Bitcoin and crypto in general (long time hodler) and additionally, android applications.

I've been searching for the ideal app to gather and stay updated with the latest movements in Bitcoin but after trying almost every app on the market i was left feeling like there was something missing from them or i gave up after being continually bombarded with adverts and popups.

I decided to develop my own application (advert free) with an incredibly simple user-interface to gather all the top sources of news into one location. User's can select from a list of news outlets, retrieve the latest headline news and view each article. You can subscribe to individual news outlets and receive instant notifications when a new article has been published.

This is a great idea but how can you determine wether or not the news are true or fake?
Fake news are a big problem for the social media platforms and a lot of bitcoin/cryptocurrency related
blogs are pure propaganda.
It`s good to make something 100% free and share it to the community.

This is too true, its a big problem for crypto in general.

I've hand picked news sources that release regular publications and also have multiple journalists with their personal names displayed just for the sake of transparency (eg: avoided websites that have articles posted by 'Admin' or 'Guest').

Ultimately i have little immediate control over fake news other than removing websites in question as and when they reveal themselves as being problematic. Just like with everything in the cyrpto-space right now, users must have some level of digression about what they read and do.

Thanks for the app! I Just downloaded it this morning and
it seems very good and its a great idea, all the news articles
in one place from reputable sources.

Yes the fake news plague is a nuisance but its up to us
individually to verify a news article I suppose at this stage.

Have you thought about sharing your RSS feed list (I assume your app is a RSS reader and you have a list of several Bitcoinrelated Feeds)?

I could import it into my already existing RSS readyer and apple users would have no problem with using it too
