Ok I didn't understand anything...

But to say it in a short and not technical way:
-The adresses he found are just very easy to crak like putting  "admin" as a password?
-The adresses you generate in wallets like Electrum aren't like this?

Short answers yes / no they are not.

Basically you can go to sleep and enjoy it because this is a non-issue, nothing to worry about it.

I didn't know about directory.io I just tried a few random 99 characters to generate addresses in bitaddress.org and after checking one address I saw that it has been used, I didn't try to troll. I did it on my own without any past knowledge about them. I'm not going any further with this and even if I find a full address I would never take anything from it.

I try your method. I go to bitaddress.org and type random number and generate an address. Eventually when I try to checked, its been unused. So I guess, your method doesn't work or I did it wrong.  Cheesy

Is directory.io a joke or a real thing? I already found more than 40 used addresses and some of them are even active till recently, also why couldn't I find any private key starting with K? all I could manage to find were keys starting with 5 but never K I searched a few trillions of pages and eventually gave up but I was amazed by the length of the page numbers Cheesy

I tried 5000000 page/3780000000000000/4649999999999999999999 and so on but never a key with K, is that directory outdated and doesn't have new keys or wasn't that supposedly contain all the possible keys?

... why couldn't I find any private key starting with K? ...

private key is just a number. you can see that number in uncompressed form which is starting with 5 (address in middle column) or see it in compressed form (addresses in right column)
if you place your mouse over the private keys (starting with 5 on left column) you can see the numbers: 1, 2, ..... and as you click next page the code simply generates the private keys in base58 on the go based on those numbers: 100, 101, ...

This only proves you are just as bad at generating random characters as someone else. In other words, what you call random isn't as random as you think it is.

Collision is a problem that must be solved by finding the key then the problem is finished and will be resolved properly. If you can show 2 different private keys that both point to the same address.

Newbies should follow these basic steps to start their cold storage and avoid these vanity addresses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TmN4STr_ug

The possibility of finding collisions is very slim and basically impossible if you look at the math behind it. People can make claims like this, and

when you ask for proof, they stop or make excuses. Watch the video above and decide for yourself.  Wink

I need anyone owning these addresses to stop using them because I know their private keys, just stop using them, I will never steal a satoshi from them I'm just letting you know.

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
ImHash in 06/03/2017 I have found the private key of the address which I am signing this message with, and I do not own this address and shall not take any amount from it.
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Other addresses:
Code:
1BgGZ9tcN4rm9KBzDn7KprQz87SZ26SAMH
19ZewH8Kk1PDbSNdJ97FP4EiCjTRaZMZQA

1D1v5aQM3FEd5EgGrhsGBjby6qauaw4R66
1NVXoQJpne8uu1Wq387AG5G9yntt23kv3A

I will sign messages with every and each one of them if needed.

Can you explain what you think a hash collision is? I have a feeling there might be a misunderstanding because (like the second or third poster said) the chances of finding any collision is insanely low, let alone a bunch of collisions. And "manual collision" is a term I'm unfamiliar with. Would love to understand what you claim to have found
