Fuck Tesla, I rather buy a GTR, Elon Musk and his idea for a basic income would lead to pure government dependence more than any communist country ever dreamed of.

That's like saying "Fuck WV, hitler was a bad man so I'd rather drive a volvo".. But you do not say that do you? Don't attach one person to a product. As shown, even the most evil of people can make it possible for next to everyone to own a car. As for your comment regarding his idea for basic income. I think you are wrong in your statement. But that's a topic for another time and definitely another place.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

He's the CEO of Tesla, that's a difference and I don't support his ideal world and buying a Tesla supports that.

Do you check what every CEO of every product that you purchase thinks of this or that? Because if you don't, you are a hypocrite. Take your breakfast for example, do you check what the CEO of the companies producing those groceries think about certain things that you might not agree with? Just seems incredibly stupid to go by that. At least Elon Musk is innovating and doing good things for the world, rather than some other CEO's of some other companies who are basically destroying the planet and such...

When the farmer of my breakfast takes a very public political opinion I disagree with then yes, and while other CEOs may be trying to destroy the planet Elon is with mankind. A universal basic income would cause strict dependency on the government, political parties would sway voters through increases in direct pay, it would be pure shit.

Ah so you get a local organic breakfast, that's great. What about your technology? Your schampoo, your shirt or other clothes? Seems stupid to me that you will base one mans opinion above all and decide that you will not buy a great product due to that fact. I'm not too sure you are seeing this from my POV. but then again I doubt there's anything I can say to change your mind.

So yeah, the universal basic income may be shit, maybe it won't, we'll never know until it actually happens. But if we'd all drive a Tesla at least the world would look a little bit better.

do people really use openbazaar?"everytime i installed it there are problems
Yeah, I never did and I actually thought it failed and that no one used it.  I could have heard wrong.

How much do you think the transaction fee would be buying a tesla?  It costs me near $8 just to spend $60.  Might be a better idea to pay with fiat, no?

If it costs you $8 to send $60 you are doing something wrong.

And it does not really matter how much you spend, the fee does not really increase that much if you send more. May I ask you what kind of wallet you use? $8 just seems so so wrong..

Mycelium, and that's on the low priority option.  There's not a way to go lower than that that I know of.  I didn't end up actually sending that $60 because of the fee--it's just too damn high.  And if I accumulated enough to buy a tesla, it would be from many transactions coming in to my wallet.  I know I'm a complete tech dumbass, but wouldn't that cause the fee to increase?

I stopped buying Heineken when they put a political position on their bottle, I supplemented with grolsch, that's the deal when companies think they are big enough to swagger political positions it annoys me. Although you're wrong about the Tesla, due to the current production of the batteries they aren't as green as you think. Remember the lithium mines aren't using electric equipment to dig up the earth, they aren't using solar to refine it and they definitely aren't using solar to transport it.

Compared to a traditional vehicle running on fossile fules it sure is more green. You can't deny that. The reason for not using electric equipment to dip up the earth, not using solar to refine it and not using solar to transport could be that it is not possible. Perhaps it would either cost too much or there is no way to justify it as there are not enough means.

There's always better to be a little green over not being green at all.

You are correct that more inputs = higher fee. But an $8 fee for sending $60 on low priority still sounds so wrong. Either mycelium is acting up and has some issues right now or there's something else going on. Try importing your wallet/s to the core client or something similar, might have better success using that. I've sent some transactions the past two days from both Core and online services, I've barely been close to $1 in fee's and I've been sending amounts ranging from $20-$300.

Getting out off topic there  Wink. I could use a Tesla if someone doesn't want one.
