For those who have a good background knowldge about Nvidia gtx cards when it comes to Mining, please vote and give us your comment. Any difference in hash rate? Fan speed/tempreture ?
Planning to buy 2x gtxs but can't decide which one of them is worth it.

Okay I own Five Msi aeros 1080ti Eight founder edition cards 1080 ti One Aorus 1080 ti As far as I can tell the founders cards all seem to be the same. I have zotacs pnys but I just would purchase what was cheap. If you buy founders Evga is great with returns so I would get Evga founders if they are cheap. I like the Msi aero model I have five I got some very good deals 598 , 635 a card. They are flawless and Msi is okay with returns The Aorus 1080ti was costly it is fat almost three slots. I spen the most on it . I will not be buying another. So Msi aero or Evga founder if prices are low.

Even though Asus price is higher than the FE. https://i.imgur.com/lWqRgWm.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/VdXT5dW.jpg

That's a typo
Look on newegg you will see the 1708 is the core number not the memory number.
Look the asus strix is a good card.
But it is costly.
I am getting Msi aero's as low as 590 usd so why pay over 779 plus tax at newegg or Amazon.

if you don't mind the noise, go with FE and save some $ I have 6 FE + 2 Gigabyte Xtreme. If you push FE to 75%Fan, it's just slightly hotter (a few degrees +) and almost the same performance as the Gigabyte Xtreme. The Gigabyte fan is really really quiet but not worth the extra $ just for mining.

Earlier RMA a 1070 and EVGA processed it very smoothly. Also let you know Gigabyte provides 4 years warranty for Aorus cards, could be a plus for reselling. And I heard Gigabyte improved its RMA service greatly recently.

How long was the turn around, did they offer to do advanced RMA and cross ship the item? I don't like it when they have to wait and then ship, it's best that they ship and you ship at the same time I hate waiting for replacements. Thanks.

I have 1 FE card and 6 Aorus card and from my experience I would say Aorus is better in both cooling and hashrate. As others has pointed out its really big almost 3 slot wide and almost 13" in length, costs $720+ and you need enough space between cards to keep the temperature in 60's range but on the plus side you can OC them a lot its power limit goes up to 350w per card and will crunch a ton of hash.
Hope this helps.

Yeah a lot depends on price. I got the 1 aorus 719 and tax at newegg = 780 I have been running it since early april it earns back nicely.
But I got those msi aero's under 600 they are good and 183 usd is a big price difference.
To be fair if I used the ebay sale for an aorus it would have been 780 - 57 in ebucks or 723
still 723 vs 597 it was an easy choice to get the msi..
also it is summer I get heat capped so I am gentle on my cards 65-73% tdp keeps stuff cool and saves power.
So the aorus pushed has a bigger tdp.
I guess I am saying your setup matters a lot. I don't see me running 20 aorus 1080 ti's this winter.
But 20 msi aero and Founder cards this winter look possible to me

I will not be able to resell my cards in future it's not cheap in my country, planning to keep them until they are either dead or mining not worth it anymore. I need a final decision and there are two main important points : Tempreture is important since it goes up to 45C here, air conditioner is on all the time. Electricity almost free no need to lower wattage. So it's either GIGABYTE AORUS EVGA FE Please advice Thank you

If you choose advanced RMA (you pay for a new card right away and get $ back later), I guess they could send it out the next day after RMA is approved.

Aorus only performs a little little faster, but much cooler/quieter though. Go EVGA FE and save some $.

That's almost two weeks and way too long for me. I'd rather purchase my GPU's from something like the Swedish Webhallen or German Mindfactory. I sent back a broken R9 Fury to Mindfactory a few months ago. I shipped the GPU from Sweden on a Tuesday. I had the new GPU delivered to my door on Friday the same week. They obviously paid for shipping back and forth since it was under warranty.

You will find, under this, all the available 1080 Ti cards, with their Clock speed and Boost Speed. What would be the hashing difference between a Founder Edition card (1480 MHz / 1582 MHz) and the GALAX GTX 1080 Ti HOF Limited Edition (1645 MHz / 1759 MHz) ?
