For me LTC or ETH because their value still increasing. No doubt this two is comperting with the highest value rank among them all in 2017. In addition Etherum has most potential in increasing because it has the highest price alternative coin so far that i know.

We should separate this 3 period before we calculate it. Before july, i mean jan-july. july till fork, after fork. when i look past we've lived so weird period for cryptocurrency market. Im not sure. every it's getting weird.  |

Right now Dash and Ethereum are tied at 4800% from January 1st to their peak highs. Still a month and a half to go!

Although Bitcoin cash can't overtake Bitcoin, I still think that Bitcoin cash is the most successful coin in 2017.

You are interested in investing in bitcoin to make money, keeping your Bitcoin as well as playing shares, will have to either down or up the trade price. The largest danger when holding BTC is when you're lucky you will lose money. Should choose when the trade rate BTC right down to purchase, sure you will make an income.

Stratis for many many reasons, just check the Stratis thread
Is it practical to daytrade or short term (1 or 2 days) any crypos? I have a background in trading index futures. On a lot of cryptos I'm not seeing a lot of volume. Is there sufficient volume on the likes of Stratis to get in and out on the smaller daily moves? |

I like several of the coins you listed (you listed many so there is a good chance there'll be something for everyone here), but specifically I like TenX. The company is doing great and it's one of the few one's that actually offers a product that can be used even today, it's quite impressive really the fact that you can all of the sudden spend your crypto's without needed to exchange first etc. Everything is being automated and you simply use a card-debit card, as you would with any other bank-debit card. So essentially when TenX will integrate other coins (especially Ethereum) there will be so much more demand for its service, unfortunately currently they only support Bitcoin and Ethereum is currently in Beta, but when this gets released we'll have some serious prices to look forward to.

Screw 2017. What will be the coin of the year 2018? I think Refereum and DeepOnion will have a good chance to explode. Also looking forward to how NEO continues to develop. Other solid projects are on the horizon and I am excited to be part of it.

I prefer Ethereum.
The transaction time is also very fast.
I have been putting quite a bit of money into Ethereum tokens because i believe some of them will be the next big thing.

I have always seen the ethereum as the best altcoin. I think it is suitable for long term investments. And also its price is more stable than the many other altcoins'.
