Hey guys, lately i had many problems with BTC transactions from my old wallet. Wallet i was using was 2013 version Multibit, with which i was sending some BTC around to exchanges in past 2 weeks, and 0 transactions actually arrived to exchange, all deposits are under pending unconfirmed state. Meanwhile i noticed that all my transactions only used minimum required fee of 0.0001 BTC which in current market is too low to get passed on aparently (old wallet didnt even had function to increase fee so i didnt notice it).

So then i installed new Bitcoin Core wallet, downloaded whole BTC blockchain in new computer and exported private key of old wallet and imported in new wallet.
The balance it showed then in new Core wallet was 0.9 BTC. Then i tried sending new transaction under new wallet, including hefty fee making sure i am in the 5-10 min block time, but again....transaction didnt went trough. I did some research and aparently if there are some old pending transactions sent from one private key all those have to be cleared before new transactions can be sucessfully sent otherwise it will justs stuck again? Is that true, could someone clear me up on that would be much appretitated.

Then under old Multibit wallet i went under tools and reset whole blockchain in order to hopefuly clear stuck transactions. Wierdly after reset my balance showed was then 1.5 BTC, but none of that BTC was shown as spendable, its showing  0 BTC as spendable after blockchain reset.

Is it possible somehow both wallets are showing wrong BTC balance, is it possible somehow to objectively confirm what is true stored value on certain private key. Also with my procedure of Multibit reset did i really clear all pending transactions? I would say no since they are still under pending state on some BTC exchanges.

Much help would be appretiated.

You need to provide your transaction ID in order for us to take a look, but I guess your problem is just same as other, transaction fees too low.
There's few options, free and paid included,

Free options
1, Wait for it (Probably a long wait depends on fees)
2, Use free accelerator like ViaBTC (https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/)
-- Limited to 100submissions per hour, submit at XX:00, the first min of every hour.
3, mocacinno is willing to help you submit if you're unable to do it (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1943939)
4, If you're having access to the receiving address, try CPFP (Child pay for parents, search for detail tutorial.)

Paid options
5, Use my accelerating services, which charge depends on TX size(byte). (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1934749)

There's other paid options out there, you can search yourself, but I won't list it here for obvious reason.

I appreciate you're trying to offer some helpful advice, but at least try reading the OP and understanding what they are asking...

OP, it is difficult to give a definite answer on what the value stored in the addresses is, or will be if you have unconfirmed transactions floating around in the mempool. Even if they have super low fees, it is still possible, that they could get mined into a block... but you can probably estimate to a degree of certainty based on fee size etc. what is going to happen to a transaction...

The reason the wallets are showing different amounts will be that they're getting different info regarding transactions. It is possible that your core mempool has refused to accept some of the transactions sent by the MultiBit wallet for whatever reason (too low fee, double spend etc)... If this is the case, then as far as your Core wallet is concerned, those transactions just simply don't exist.

MultiBit is lightweight wallet and gets pending transaction data from servers... so if the multibit server you're connected to has your Core transaction floating in it... it is possible that it is seeing "double spend" transactions and counting the coins twice.

As cyyap pointed out... if you want more definite answers, provide some transaction IDs

That transaction has coins sent to it by this earlier (parent) unconfirmed transaction.

Your transaction can't confirm until that earlier transaction confirms. I tried contacting the person who started this thread and asking him to get it confirmed for free.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1946761.0

He's only available until 20:00 UTC, so there's less than two hours remaining today for him to respond in. He says he can get transactions confirmed by antpool, but I have never used, or heard of his services before.

Alternatively you could try using this free service.

Yes mind that it was my question in first post, are unconfirmed transactions stacking on top of eachother so that no other new transactions can pass trough untill historical ones are sorted.  It is logical to assume so but i wanted to make sure, but still noone has clearly pointed it out if that is the case.

A new transaction cannot confirm until an unconfirmed historical parent one gets confirmed. A miner can confirm a stack of unconfirmed transactions in a single block. It's sometimes possible to make what's known as a child pays for parent transaction. That's a transaction that spends coins from an earlier low fee unconfirmed transaction, but with a very high fee. Sometimes miners are prepared to confirm both transactions to get the high fee from the second transaction.

Thanks man, i wish i had that straight explanation earlier. Wierd that did many of google searches and hadnt found any such straight explanation. So i have to first "force mine" all my previous pendings on some miner that accepts decent fee for those transactions. I had one transaction cleared in mean time from miner that accepted payment to clear it, and it seems like this could be common symptom for all other transactions, since all of them share one same symptom...low fee.

I hate to ask such blunt questions for obvious error, but really in my defense i was using very old wallet with no proper fee updates, and aswell few years of crypto market disconnect to spot the problem early.

It's not really up to me, the transaction and coins belong to janpec1000. I'm just trying to help him get it confirmed. He's the one that needs to agree to your proposal.

All transactions were now completed, cyyap95 mined all of transactions from my address with extra fee. Probably it looks like that too low fee was the reason why initial transaction got stuck and then the rest of them got stock due to others being stuck. Just my guessing, i could be wrong, perhaps someone could confirm.
Ill send another transaction tomorrow with good fee and see whats happening, could someone point to what is current usual transaction time for 0.1 BTC with solid fee?

That is exactly the reason your transactions got stuck... low fees... if there are unconfirmed parent transactions, then the child transactions cannot confirm.

Usual transaction time for ANY amount with the recommended fee (or greater) is usually measured in minutes... in most cases, definitely less than an hour... but it is not 100% guaranteed. The speed of confirmation is not related to the amount of BTC being transacted. It is related to the fee... measured in satoshis per byte (or BTC per KB)...

Check here for recommended fees:

Thanks for input, ill try tomorrow new transaction now that all old were cleared, with high fee to see if it goes trough "quick".
