I own a Trezor and I read a blogpost (this one: https://blog.trezor.io/trezor-firmware-updated-to-1-5-0-7a402d3e9f89 )
That said that in the latest beta update (which I have installed) you can use something called "Ethereum Tokens (ERC-20)" to store "ERC-20 tokens".

I logged in to myetherwallet through Trezor and looked in the wallet and clicked on the token button and it display a lot of different coin names like this:

Account Balance
0 ETH
Token Balances
0   1ST
0   ANT
0   ARC
0   BeerCoin 🍺
0   BCDN
0   CRB
0   CryptoCarbon
0   DAO
0   DAO_extraBalance
0   DGD
0   DGX 1.0
0   EDG
0   EMV
0   GNO
0   GNT
0   GUP
0   GT
0   HKG
0   HMQ
0   ICN
0   JET
0   LUN
0   MDA
0   MIT
0   MKR
0   MLN
0   MNE
0   NxC
0   PLU
0   REP
0   RLC
0   ROL
0   ROUND
0   SGT
0   SNGLS
0   SRC
0   SWT
0   TaaS
0   TIME
0   TKN
0   TRST
0   Unicorn 🦄
0   VSL
0   WINGS
0   XAUR

Does this mean I can send these coins to this adress and store them there securierly in my Trezor? Or what will happen if I send for example a WINGS coin to this Etherium adress?

Ok I tried to send 1 WINGS to this adress and it seem to work because I now have 1 WINGS in there. How do I send that 1 WINGS though to another adress if I want? When i go into the send section there is no button to specify what kind of coin or token you want to send?

Yes, you can. As you can see at the same Trezor's blog post you linked:

"To receive ERC-20 tokens, use your Ethereum address generated by TREZOR. To send your tokens, unlock your Ethereum wallet on MyEtherWallet and fill in the transaction details, as well as the token type. Remember, that you will need to own some ethers on the same account in order to successfully pay for the transaction."

Thank you! Smiley

So this way if you connect with the Trezor on the myetherium wallet and then send in the coins you are also secured with the Trezor like you would if you have Bitcoins or Etherium on your Trezor? That sounds like this would be the best alternative to store these coins like Wings etc, instead of using any dedicated desktop wallet etc for them? Or are there any downsides?

Btw, there is a button to add custom tokens, does this mean you can add other coins that you can't find a good wallet for?

Yes. You will be securing your Tokens the same you are with your Bitcoins and Ethereum. And I don't think there is any downsides. Only if you can think of a problem when storing your coins in a Hardware Wallet.

Btw, there is a button to add custom tokens, does this mean you can add other coins that you can't find a good wallet for?
Yes. You can add custom tokens not available by default.

Wow, but there must be some limit to what tokens you can add by default? Or why would there not be a list of all of them?

Make sure your wallet has enough amount of ethereum to pay gas for your transaction. I think there is a button for you to choose the right coin and try to send them to the another ethereum wallet which has supported ERC20 compliant.

Google has provided a lot of useful information for you about myetherwallet.

Little confused by this sentance: " I think there is a button for you to choose the right coin and try to send them to the another ethereum wallet which has supported ERC20 compliant. "

Why send to another etherum wallet with ERC20 compliant? Can't I send to any other wallet regardless?

Can you add any other coin to the custom token, like BAT for example by just adding the adress from here? https://etherscan.io/token/BAT

What should you put in the decimal field and the token symbol field?

And if it is this easy to add and store these coins, why are these coins not added by default?

You can add as many custom token to your watch list and view, send and receive them anytime you feel like and seeing their transaction in real time.

Simply add 2 in the decimal field and BAT in the symbol field.

Where did you get 2 from? 18 is the right number according to the info. But they have added BAT by default now.

I do not see any reason for your argument but i will be soft with you due to your rank.

The main reason that makes you to ask for the decimal point is because 18 did not work for you, have tried the figure 2 that i mentioned and failed ?

Put 2 into the decimal and forget all about those info you are talking about.

Explore and navigate the use of your ethereum wallet and tokens on your trezor wallet, maybe you can find it there.

I do access mine through private keys though. I suggest all tokens compactible with myetherwallet should be added by default.
