The price of all the coins is judged from a project that they stretcher is true what you say, as much as paper money everybody can make it but it depends on the legality problem if the country that make their currency is legal but if induvidual make clear it is counterfeiting action Currencies as well as all the coins here that are viewed are what portfolio projects they bring to the market

Well valuation does depend on how you perceive something, so the logic is true. The thing is, it will never come to that. BTCBTCBTC has always been associated with money and will always be associated with money.

That's correct but also depends on one's perception of money and how mainstream alternatives are. Currently most markets that accept BTC as currency base their prices on FIAT against BTC but that could change for certain markets if say for example that bitcoin somehow became more popular than USD.

Well, the fiat money that you are holding right now has actually no realistic value either. You are an economist right? You know that. Value is actually imposed on these otherwise useless and worthless pieces of paper, exactly just like bitcoin. Value is present simply because we all agree to put value to it. And right now, as you can observe, the people are trusting bitcoin as reflected by the value it has.

But I share your point that virtually anyone can just make a coin. That will actually be a downside to the crypto nation.

What is the value of AIR, SAND, or WATER?
It has a value but it's very very low, because its easily available.
Same with cryptocoins, they are to easy to create to hold a value...

Its a fact that 90% of the altcoins never survive in the market even coins which had a decent run in the ICO phase. It all depends on what the coin is aimed at and every coin has its own benefits so you can't entirely be sure if the coin has a future or not unless its actually not a good investment which you can judge by some research and your gut.

I think what most people fail to think about, is that this 'cryptocurrency' world is still in its infant stage.  Yes bitcoin has been around awhile, but when you step back and look at the whole picture this is a brand new industry, not many rules or regulations, much like the wild west of long ago.

I believe the world economy is coming closer to becoming a digital economy with digital currencies, and everyone here is basically paving the way and the early pioneers.

So basicaly, just hodl through the bad times, because good times are coming.

I agree. People just lack vision and scale. They think the worlds end is upon us when the market drops 30b. In reality, this is nothing when looked at a global scale. It is a fluke. The larger it gets, the lower the flucutations will be. But without vision and patience to hold more than 2 weeks, crypto - and every other investment as well - is not for you. Save your money and put it under a pillow. People just wanna get rich over night without risk. Will not happen.

Exactly, people need to change their mindset. Another thing, they have to realize that there is manipulation behind alot of the hype, FUD, doom and gloom going on. Dont make your decisions based on what other people say or claim about a certain coin, do your own research.  People want to create panic so they can buy more at a cheaper price, and  then they unleash the hype to build it back up.  I feel bad watching the panic set in because I know alot of people are going to cut their losses and sell at a loss.

I started to believe there is a capital flow and its direction from the late investors to the founders and early adopters. This creates worries for the people who are interested in altcoins.

There is no book for this and trying to compare it to anything that has happened in the past is pointless. Dear its not correct that all coin are worthless there are many coins available that have value in long term there are some coins which have some worth in the market and they will be used by many companies in the future there are many crap coins also available here but not all there are many good coins also which will be sure worth good in the future.
