DTMF.io now supports premium-rate numbers: earn BTC for inbound phone call mins!

DTMF.io has been providing anonymous mobile phone numbers with Bitcoin payment for the last 9 months. We're now expanding into premium-rate numbers, allowing you to earn Bitcoin for inbound phone calls to your numbers.

Rent one or more numbers on DTMF.io and choose whether to have inbound calls ring in your browser or forward to a number of your choice, and we'll pay you for every inbound call minute that your number receives. The caller pays a per-minute rate for the call, the amount of which is up to their own carrier.

Our payout rates to you range from 5300-12600 satoshi per minute (rates are subject to change due to currency fluctuation).

In the coming weeks we'll be launching SIP support allowing you to terminate calls to the premium-rate number (and additionally calls to our normal anonymous mobile numbers) on any SIP-compatible IP PABX or hosted service of your own.

I am very happy to see this at the bitcoin forum, i have been checking some website similar to this but with different payment methods.

When is your cashout and payment ? Can you provide short code for sms with customized fees ?

It varies between end-of-month + 45 days and end-of-month + 60 days, depending on the country of the number. Unfortunately we can't reduce this as it's when we get paid by the carrier in question.

Shortcodes are possible on a case-by-case basis but they are expensive and require documentation of the intended use. You're welcome to get in touch if it's something you need, we are more than happy to arrange it.

Seems like a great idea and service. I have a suggestion though, can you change the format of the price on your site from satoshi to USD ? This is will make it easier for people to understand your pricing structure.

Thanks for the feedback. The prices are in satoshi/BTC, so we definitely won't be quoting them exclusively in USD as that would require them to fluctuate, but we are planning to add (informational) conversion to several currencies soon.
