Ether should be the high candidate after bitcoin. I can say the true silver is ethereum and not for litecoin.  Because ltc never hit its new ath. And the litecoin will take very long time to get the new ath in the future.

Eth, iconomi, lunyr probably the best coin i'm holding right now with stable rate and good volume that's a good coin to trade with.  Also potential ICO really a good choice to invest but make sure you choose it carefully.

I like doge for a long time since I've trade them over three years. Their community is strong and unique that's why they can exist until now.
ETH also showing promising project by seeing their value able to compete with LTC

If we see real spread other than trading, I guess all other coins are just for name. Only Bitcoin is the power. If someone accepts any other coin, ultimately he gonna convert it to fiat or Bitcoin.
So we will restrict the discussion to trading. For trading choosing any particular coin will be injustice with potential of others. For say, Cloakcoin unexpectedly jumped from 0.00035 BTC where it was lying from 4-5 months to 0.0015 BTC. So if anyone blindly goes for Ethereum as its spread is second after Bitcoin will bring zero profit when compared to some smart trader who switch to Cloakcoin and earn 500% profits.

none of those in the poll lol, i like coins such bitcore and spreadcoin, bitcore keep what bitcoin can't do now, segwit plus big block, spreadcoin, is aimign at full decentralization, i also like Zcash, their anonymity is good, better than monero for some aspects, i would like ETH more if it was not going to full pos, i hope will never do it

I like doge. Fast transactions. Low transfer fees. Easy to acquire and hold thousands of coins. Value is extremely low with plenty of potential for growth.

Ethereum, Monero and litecoin are my favorite Altcoins. I mine monero and ethereum and i use litecoins for my gambling activities because Bitcoin doesn't confirm quickly.

For me I like the 3 altcoins doge, ltc, and ethereum. I like doge more than the two because transfer using doge is fast and cheaper when compared to the other two. I like ltc just because they implemented segwit and also I use it frequently when I like to gamble. I like ethereum the least among the three I chose but I still like it because it got so many ETH based erc20 tokens that has a lot of potential and is a good altcoin to invest in now to make more bitcoin.

For longer term i think ETH is a good bet, it's got huge community support & attracting a lot business.. recently www.realestate.eth domain sold for $500k , thought that a massive endorsement.


Also like Dash,  it's focusing on the user experience and applying payments industry best-practices into our Dash product & lead by devs that are capable.


For a small speculative punt i have UBQ, team looks good with seed backing & hinted at working with Oyster card ( Londons transport card ) via "smartcontacts" platform.  

 Ripple XRP look's like going head to head in the currency backing game.. I would watch this space as the idea is massive as trading & Crypto become bigger..

As of now my favorite altcoin are ethereum and dogecoin. We all know that Doge is a better coin to buy because it has shown the community that it is tougher than all alts (sans LTC) in terms of viability and stability. Transferring using dogecoin is fast and cheaper if you compared to Ltc or eth.
Ethereum also has a Good Potential and it's second to Bitcoin It has been successful in making its effect felt throughout the cryptocurrency domain and is starting to dominate the market.

I choose eth and doge we often encounter this coin in multi wallet providers they are very popular among your options. doge has the advantage in the transaction. I like eth because blockchain ethereum allows for smart contracts and dapps.

A lot of people have used doge as alternative way for the cheapest transaction but there is no other interested thing was offered by doge coin than cheap transaction. or the doge coin give a lot of the volatility for the holders anyway.

I think best altcoins are those which show steady growth and your investment is safe at the same time. The alitcoins i like are monero, ethereum, iconomy and waves which are progressing alot these days.
