Danke, Trepex. Spannend zu hören.

ideas about what mining pool to choose ?
preferably p2pool/similar or one that is not in the top5 .. and which is stable and well administered.. e.g. ozcoin .

*edit.. also important: identify and setup (2 or more) backup pools to have a strategy for unforeseeable circumstances Wink

That's great! Ty for the update.

I have tried a lot of pools since 2011 and slush's pool https://mining.bitcoin.cz seems to be one of the fairest.
- stratum support
- transaction fees which are added to the found block are paid out too. Not the 25 BTCs only.
- namecoin mining

Yes thats true - slush just got a bit too big since stratum (he's the 'leading' developer behind it). The first both are also fitting for ozcoin, namecoin at least is not supported any more Sad . So if that one is a criteria, the pools to choose from are quite few.
But: "Instant payout, pay invalids for 2%+ donors" is a plus of ozcoin vs. slush and most others.

If merged mining is important then also bitparking is interesting, but I had serious problems regarding its stability. And MtRed sadly is closing its service - as if it needed proof that 0 fee doesn't work out on long term.

Sadly namecoin seems to be dead, or how many bitcoin-sites are reachable via .bit-addresses? and do you have a dns/nmc-gateway activated on your systems/routers?
