genau den hub habe ich, und damit läuft das . ich habe aber ein normales pc-Netztteil mit 15 A Leistung, was den raspberry und den hub mit Strom versorgt Der hub an sich funzt schon, hab die netzteile von BIGtec dran weil grad nichts anderes hier, die sind nicht durchgehend gleichwertig... und damit ungenügend. An einem kann ich 3 betreiben, annem anderen 5 .. naja, demnächst kommen die an eine pc-psu |

To hot to handle without a leather glove but I have them running since last Friday without additional cooling.
I don't have more than the usual 1% hardware errors.
I'll test some additional passive cooling to get them over the hot summer days.

Been running 2 days without cooling without problems. But I will place a 140mm fan next to them over the coming days, just for peace of mind |

My order has arrived (Portugal), but was left by a pharmacy in my building since I'm working. Can't wait to get home and start preparing my mining setup! Thanks yxt! You can use any USB fan. Bought mine in the supermarket around the corner. With it they get warm... do not burn on touch.

My 2 USB Gizmos are @ 32ºC, with a 8' pc case fan blowing @ 10cm of them. |

i get error: ERROR: could not insert 'cp210x': Invalid argument

malin, guess a missing driver. Which Linux kernel used? 'uname -a' will show your kernel version.
You might check if the driver file is present: /lib/modules/(kernel_version)/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/cp210x.ko

arbeite mit zwei Exsys EX-1177 7-port usb hubs
vorteil, ich kann das pc netzteil nutzen, denn die haben einen fdd-stromstecker onboard.
gibt es sogar als ohne alles version (ohne netzteil und kabel)
und haben den NEC-Chipsatz D720113GK drin plus metallgehäuse...
bisher kann ich nur gutes berichten...
