Somewhat in response to http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=18494.msg244018#msg244018
and a Bitcoin sub-reddit suggestion that a Bitcoin PR team form, I would like to request the creation of a forum dedicated to media monitoring and public and media relations for the Bitcoin project.

I'm would be happy to help moderate such a forum.

In the meantime I have created a sub-reddit devoted to the topic:

We need to be constantly deconstructing the FUD that's coming at Bitcoin and coming up with strong coherent rebuttals.

The next time someone from the press quotes Sen Schumer's "[Bitcoin is] an online form of money laundering" to anyone, we should have a couple of snappy lines already rehearsed that totally destroy the argument.
