Seems like UPort is a bit further behind in terms of business development. Less clean site, and not at ICO stage. But, they have a product that is working - Civic doesn't.

I think civic is a better option because civic has a very good development team which will make sure that your investment is completely safe as it is growing and progressing everyday so that you earn unexpectedly high profits.

Lol! the hype is real. I think it is best to diversify your bags into both projects if you have the chance to do so. That's what I have learned over the past 2 to 3 years in the Crypto universe. Honestly, I haven't looked much into either of them. I think they both are into building a digital identity for the users which makes them easier to get verified or something. So, it is too early to make a call that is right.

Civic has a working product unlike Uport, I believe for now Civic is far ahead of Uport interms of development maybe Uport can catch up in future time will tell.

I think cvc will cost more. Firstly it is the pioneer in this field, and the second for them is more reliable and the team is known for.
