Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Very good that you have not sent him the money first, he refuse to use escrow so it's 100% a scam because even  he can sign a message that is no guarantee that you will get your money later so only deal via escrow and make sure it's a real one and not a fake or impersonator!

This user recently woke up from a long period of inactivity.
I need not say anything else. Good job OP for not falling for these simple tricks. Avoid trading with users without escrow who:
1) Woke up recently.
2) Changed their passwords/emails recently.
3) Do not have a strong and verifiable history of trading.

All of these can be seen via the trust page and should serve as a basis for evaluation before trading. Anyhow, tagged.
