I was reading up on builds different people posted, one build the guy posted i noticed had 8 GPU's...but when i looked up his motherboard he listed that he used it only had 1 x16 slot and 5 x1 slots.. so it boggled me how he had 8 cards running and when i looked closer i seen a riser with 3 cables coming from it.. googled it and found these risers... do they really work? any issues using them?

Yes they do work but there are also many motherboards that have been found that do not support this.
It's actually a shot in the dark at times but if it does work then enjoy!
