Hard fork when ?

Pretty new here, but currently looking for inputs about the hard fork everybody was talking about a few weeks ago. Will it happen ? When ? What options can be expected in the coming weeks in your opinion ?

When is answered, now the Question is How hard will it impact!

The date mentioned for the fork is August 1 but i dont think that is gonna happen. Segwit is being currently supported by most of the people. It holds around 90% of the support from the bitcoin community as BIP91 has recently joined hands with Segwit. Yet it is not guaranteed that the fork will not happen as nobody can predict the future accurately. If the fork does happen then the chain will split and there will be two bitcoins and it will have to choose which chain they are going to follow.
