That Seasonic is too weak, go for Corsair TX 850 gray model. It will power 6 1060s with 100W TDP limit.

Cheapest Pentium, 4GB RAM. No need for SSD, used 250GB HDD will do just fine.
Minis are ok, but go for two fan MSI/Gigabyte models if possible.

PSU: Seasonic M12II-850 Bronze EVO Edition 850W ATX 2.3  (103)  go bigger 1060 has a 120watt tdp 120wattx7=840 plus cpu/ram/mb/ssd you'l blow that psu up fast i would not go lower than a very good 1000watt like evga g2 for example  my 1060 rigs use 5cards per rig running off 750watt evga T2 each card software locked to 100watt  100x5 plus cpu its pulls 580-600 from the wall you dont want to run your psu at 100% try stay under 80%for 24/7  use...

THanks for the input

Supposedly with UV and OC  the output should be about at 750 MAx   about  the 1000w evga g2  its mostly out of stock and the only one available costs about 275 euros

I can only go for 850 i guess and most of the 1000w are out of stock or overpriced  :/ its kinda annoying I had my "list of hardware"  but everything is out of stock or overprice damn it

Or should I go  with 850   6 Cards?

or  750 +450  on 7

Q: is dual hashing demanding on 1060 3gb?

yeh but drivers can crash and card can lose there UV.... if something goes wrong and they pull there full 120 each you'l blow your psu better to be safe than sorry.. you could try get away with 6 on a 850..

I have 2 rig with 6x(12 total) zotac mini 1060 3gb mining at 140mh eac.

I am using thermaltake 730w

For rx 480 other my rig i use corsair 850 is the best!!!
But 1060 aren't so craving of power so 730 is good.. but if you can go with corsair 850

Check out tomshardware review of 1060.
It pulls max 10A under furmark, and no algorithm can match furmark Smiley
So if you limit tdp by 20% it will pull 8A.
So plan accordingly.
If you buy a good PSU it will handle eventual voltage overloads by simply shutting down.
If you want to play it safe and save money, go for 2 PSU solution with 7 gpus.
Most good PSUs above 650W are carry "high-end gaming/mining" premium on price.

Ok guys Im Set  I'm only waiting for Risers

In the meantime Im hashing on nicehash  with 3 1060 Gigabyte Windforce(  very silent cards) @  62mhs  Dagger

Kinda newbie Question

Corsair TX 850  how i'm supposed to power 5 or 6 VGAs?   It has Supposedly only for 4 PCI-e Power Cable

Can I Use the peripheral& Sata slots?

2.   DUAL PSU 24 PIN (20+4) POWER SUPPLINK CABLE FOR 2 POWER SUPPLIES

3.  M.2 NGFF TO PCI-E 4X

Where can I find these in Europe? suggestions?

4.  Preffered Wallet and Trading Site  for EU citizen?  (Polo? kraken?)

I don't want to scare you, but you should be very, very careful which 1060 3gb you order. I bought Asus Phoenix and they all have Hynix memory, so they hash 15mh/s out of the box, about 18.5mh/s oc. Everyone I talked about who had Hynix memory had the same issue. Now, not all 1060 3gb have the same problem, but the cheaper ones do. Hope you win the lottery buddy.

Hey   3 of  my cards stock are at 15,5mhs    but  equihash @ 265   i'm planing on moving all of 15mhs to mine zec  @ 260 each so its fine but you are right

5x Gigabyte windforce all of them stock  18,7  oc 22mhs

Could you advice me about the  PSU problem?   if a PSU can support up to 4 VGAs  how I will be able to connect 6 cards?

Are all those low hashing ones with Hynix ram?

I have 10 cards, 5 per rig. I'm using Corsair RM850x which is an 850W PSU. 5 overclocked 1060 cards at 85% TDP draw about 550-560W from the wall.
About your PSU, Corsair does have extra cables you can buy, right? The SATA connectors seem to be 6 pins but PCI-E connectors are all 8 pins (those that go in the PSU). You could try using 6 pins to 6 pins cable, but I'm not 100% sure if that will work or even be safe. I have never tried it myself, it's just a suggestion.

Yes they are Hynix

I have the same PSU  I have CS850m

Damn it Bought the "wrong" Corsair PSU  I just Saw  Photo of the  RM850 and it has 5x8 Pin

I have extra cable   6pins to 6 pins have anyone tried it before?

Is the 3gb limit only applies to Ethereum? Or are other currencies needing a lot of memory?
I'm pretty sure Ethereum mining will not be profitable anymore with a 1060 before the DAG limit will be reached.
