SHIFT - The next 100x potential

I'm lazy ass shit i took a quick look at shift and bought 500$ of it some time ago now it's worht like 4-5k.

Could someone sum it up for me what exactly is it about to convince me to hold it instead of dumpin?

Update: if someone sums it up nicely enough for me, i'll give them 10$ worth of shift

At first I thought Shift was vaporware too, and shit. It turns out it is just a young project. They have one MAJOR pivot point that they need to cross, and once they do, you will see Shift be worth sooo much more. You will have to read the article to know what this pivot is.

There are too many small investors waiting for Shift, but Shift does not give them what they expect. Shift price does not look like a rising altcoin.

If a small investor does not have any losses, he will have to leave Shift and invest in other altcoins.

I think you mean Phantom 
its a dApp to create decentralized internet sites and its a file manager aswell
the method is called ipfs (interplanetary filesystem)

Shift has been in constant development. The growth is organic. If you expect an ICO hype coin, this is not the one. If you are looking for a coin with great long term growing potential and good tech, then I would encourage investors to take a look. There will be good things to come, even in the near future.

Shift has a small team and less funding compared to all the ICOs, so you have be patient. It still has very low market cap and has remained pretty stable at $1.20 or so, so still lots of growth potential.

I wish I had a crystal ball to answer this question :-) there are so many ICOs and alt coins not that it's very easy for the real gems to be lost in the noise. I think SteX has a great potential based on their business model and also other tokens have started trying out their DEEP technology and they haven't even done their main ICO yet.

its wrong to say 100x that would be a marketcap of 1000m
thats unrealistic but its more than realistic that it can reach a 100m marketcap with its project

The mainnet is on track, but the coin gets hammered on bittrex.
I believe that the moment they will create the 1st decentralized website on the chain, it is going to be x10, but in the meantime, it's going downhill.

going downhill!? the SHIFT-BTC rate has gone up 40-45% since BTC fork. growth rate is even more impressive if you do the math in USD. i don't see what's to be cried about. last two days have been correction time for most alts after a 2-week rally, that's just in the order of things

I don't understand how net privatisation is related to a delegate system; wouldn't such system be vulnerable to lobbying ? Because if 50+% of delegates are defending their own interests, it won't be really healthy.

Two of their devs just left - internal dispute I think over compensation. Not the main ones though

This is the reason for that pretty ugly dip a couple days back I think.

Not the main dev though - who is pretty devoted to the project. Also, the two devs that left were apparently working on RISE and something else as well.

I think its buy the dip time - theres too much completed already and Phantoms coming out, etc.

Also, there are other devs on board who do not have a public face / have not been introduced etc.

As soon as theres a dev-related announcement to reassure people - ie brought a couple more on board or bringing to light some of the background ones - or dev release of some sort, the price will bounce back up.

That and I really like this project so theres that - but from an unbiased standpoint - its a buy when others are fearing sort of thing
