What is Aventus?
Aventus is a blockchain-based platform designed to create a fair, secure, and transparent
 event ticketing system that eliminates unregulated touting and counterfeit tickets, and provides entertainers,
promoters, and venues oversight over the secondary ticketing market.


The problem
Touts use software programs known as “bots” to bulk buy tickets on primary markets, resulting in popular events selling out in minutes
 mostly to resellers who never intended to attend the show in the first place. Once touts manage to buy up tickets from primary markets,
 they place them onto secondary markets within minutes at extortionate prices, averaging 49% above face value.

Aventus solution
At the core of the Aventus solution is a model where off-blockchain transactions of tickets are prevented. By ensuring that sales
 occur through the platform, event organisers can reliably enforce resale price minima and maxima, and even receive a portion
 of secondary sales revenue. Each ticket has a unique identifier and due to the blockchain’s immutable properties, once the event organisers
 have set up tickets no counterfeits can be created. Due to the transparency of the Blockchain,
 any user can check the validity of a ticket immediately.

I'm going to watch this but I think the event organizers are probably in on the scalper to create hype and sell out the event they don't give a crap about attendiees overpaying they just want this to happen so it's sold out
