Most of these coins are using some kind of PoS, which actually has quick confirmations. The problem is that the way these coins work is not so safe. This causes exchanges to require large number of confirmations, and this will slow transactions anyway.

fastcoin is the fastes because it has 30 second block time, you get the first confirmation after 30 seconds, ethereum has 15 second block but the confimation time is longer, but ethereum and bitcoin will have both raiden and lightining network, these two will make their transaction instant, and the fastest ever among crypto

Thank you for your post Ayers,

You are correct in that FastCoin is the fastest, however its block time is actually 12 seconds on average, not 30 ;-)

Some have argued that Ethereum actually based its target block rate from the successful implementation of FastCoin's, which incidentally has been running for over 4 years now.

This was taken directly from Etherum's Website...

"Every 12 seconds, on average, a new block is added to the blockchain with the latest transactions processed by the network and the computer that generated this block will be awarded 5 ether"

at https://ethereum.org/ether

and here are FastCoin's specs...

How do you claim that both ethereum and bitcoin will make their transaction instant? That sounds weird, frankly. You must be aware of the bitcoin transaction time problem.

You must also be aware about segwit too, maybe he thinks that segwit might make transactions instant on bitcoin but O don't know why he claimed that ETH will have instant transactions in the future too. For me the fastest and cheapest coin to send right now on altcoins is doge since their transaction fee is only 1-2 doge which is 100+ satoshis only. It also takes only less than 5 minutes most of the time for it to have confirmations.

Hello,

Simple question. Which coin transaction is fastest thrue exchangers?
Maybe ETH ?

How much time takes to arrive from one exchanger to another?
I vote for ether is best transaction speed. As i have tried around 4 to 5 altcoins transaction including bitcoin . In that ether was best it took around 15 minutes, second Dogecoin it took around 30 to 40 minutes yes again i transacted from my one wallet to other wallet i am gathering my all doge earning in one wallet . third goes to bitcoin  . Ripple and litecoin i received i dint send to any one

I agree with you if ethereum and bitcoin can not be instant, both also take time for transaction. I only agree if ethereum and wallet can work well together in terms of bitcpin transactions

Transaction speed again depend on transaction fees. But for me ether would be the fastest and also bitcoin doing fairly good even with some low transaction fees like 18 /Byte and doge is having universal fees like 1 doge per transaction even confirmation about 20 to 40 minutes it varies

Bitcoin been too active that there are lots of bulk transactions that cant handle yet by bitcoin but developments may occur soonest.

I have tried for arbitrage once with coins like Komodo & Sexcoin. But these coins take days to get transferred from one exchange to another. Can you share some tips to become successful in arbitrage?

Based on what I have seen, Ethereum is the fastes altcoin transaction compare to other platform. However, the fee is quite more expensive than other altcoin transaction.

I not think altcoin can create transaction and confirm very fast than DGB at now, just need 10s almost instant after sending to an address. XRP good too but still can't compare with DGB

Ripple and dogecoin are the two fastest to me. Ethereum is fast for now but in no mush time from now it will begin to have low time the way bitcoin is having now and also high fees. Hope in future we would have the coins that will be fast as speed of light.

If you I saw this question 1 year ago, I would definitely say ethereum but not any more... Its blockchain is more vulnerable than bitcoin's blockchain I think. So my choice would be Ripple in this case.

Dash is very fast and doge. You dont need to have any doge or dash to receive your coins

Yeah like what I've read, Japan and Thailand had launched the fastest transaction between in their country. Litecoin and dash can be transfer in just 3 - 5 seconds. Thats really fast. Another innovation and upgrade to cryptocurrency.
