How do I make a 2nd CHN wallet, one with zero funds in it?  I tried renaming the chnCoin folder in roaming apps, but that didn't do it.
I even downloaded and ran a fresh chnCoin QT client.  I run them in sandbox, is that why it's not giving a fresh wallet with zero funds in it?

thanks.

open  chn coin.exe > Receive Coin > New Address

open  chn coin.exe > Receive Coin > New Address

thanks for the response, sterob.  I appreciate you taking the time to post in here.
Perhaps I should have been more specific: I am looking for how to make a 2nd wallet for pure cold storage in my safe, and use my current wallet as a transfer/intermediary wallet.

Renaming your chncoin folder in roaming should have worked.  What happened when you did that?

thank you for the reply, MrWizard.  You are helping to confirm my suspicions.
When i renamed the old folder, a new one wasn't made. I suspect it's because I'm using a sandbox to run the wallet in, that the roaming folder is persistant in the sandbox somehow.

edit. it was the sandbox cache. thanks all.

In the CHNCoin folder, just make a shortcut pointing to  the CHNCoin exe, but add this flag: -datadir=[your CHNCoin folder]

This seems like a good solution.  You can keep your cold storage wallet.dat on a USB drive and only plug it in when you need access.  This way you never copy your high funds wallet to your hard drive.
