The current noise to actual content ratio is probably somewhere around: 90% - 10%. It is possibly even worse. As the staff is reusing to properly handle this, for whatever reason (and you're free to speculate why they are letting this place turn into nearly a total-anarchy), threads won't help. This has been debated heavily in the past, but theymos refuses to change anything.

Problem comes from the fact that the majority of the people aren't here to learn and pass through their knowledge, but solely to gain money.

Just look at the massive wave of newbies that have their main priority focused solely on gaining enough activity, to participate in whatever signature campaign here.

I even doubt that some of the shitposters here were aware of Bitcoin berore signing up here. They likely just Googled how to earn money, and ended up here.
