I might sell a single BTC just to have some fiat in my pocket and be a back up if ever some uncertainties happens or if the price drops then I will use it to buy some. The rest, I will hold it and wait for a price like 20,000 USD and then sell it. I want to taste some of my earnings and then engage again in bitcoin. That's the drill

Here's something to consider.  If you mined 10 BTC with a GPU 5 years ago you literally have nothing to lose except the cost of electricity.  Why not hold onto it long term like a lottery ticket?  If something disastrous happens like some kind of fatal algorithmic bug, etc that kills BTC you'd be sad but you really didn't "lose" anything.

Sell at incremental but in all likelihood hold a dedicated value that does not get touched unless its brutal otherwise for all other needs rely on fiat and just keep HODL going for a long time in the future.

I am holding part of my bitcoins and I am selling part of it, but i never thought about for what price i will sell it. Probably in future i will do as I am doing right now - holding part of it and selling part of it. You know, i have kids, maybe when they grow up bitcoin value will be lots higher than it is now

With bitcoin no need to fear of missing ATH, because even now if this explodes soon or in a short the price will once again reach the same ath value or even higher. I will be cashing out 5bitcoins and will be starting my own offline business with bitcoin acceptance. The rest will be held into the wallet for future growth.

Do you know that people were saying the same when the price touched the $1000-$1500-$2000 marks?

People have been proven wrong time on time again, that should be clear by now, right? If you really believe that this is a bubble that will pop soon, you don't know how this market works.

From there, I believe that you are indeed better off closing your positions (if you have any), and then just keep staring at the fiat afterwards. I think for your own safety, that's a better option.

not so long ago, same topics were created here asking what will you do if... and people were saying "i am planning on selling at $1000 because it won't go any higher". now the same thing is happening again but it seems like everyone just clicked Replace("$1000", "$2800")...

I don't have anyway near that many coins, but this is a very difficult question to answer. Rather than dumping all my coins at a particular target, I will subdivide my stash in to 7-8 parts and I'll set sub-targets for each of these parts. I will sell my first part (BTC1.25) when BTC reaches an exchange rate of $5,000 per coin. The next targets will be $10,000, $15,000, $20,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $500,000.

well its really a good thing to think of something that you can afford if you have that amount of btc from your wallet then old it for the next 5-10 years
for sure the value will be much bigger and it will be enough for us to live a luxurious life especially if you are in a third world country, you can buy a house and a car with a business too.

10 btc at that value is 28000 USD, its a sizeable sum but not enough to change lives. If I wanted to risk it all I'd go for at least 280000 USD because that would change my life completely and it would be more than enough. That means a price of up to 30k USD per bitcoin. Yes I think its unrealistic for at least a decade but thats what it would take to have the life I dream of.

If I have 10 bitcoin I will use it in trading to double or triple my 10 bitcoin instantly. Also, if have 10 bitcoin I will try to invest it in any kind of investment sites to get much bitcoin. Then, I guess I will save it in my online wallet to keep it safe and secure.

Except that you now have $28k worth. You will be down $28k from now. Decisions shouldn't be based on old information.

Or you would lose all in trading! To make that much more bitcoins you have to take some serious risk! Even trying your luck with shitcoins isn't a guarantee, more likely you will lose than finding the needle in the hay stack which will tripple your coins instantly.

I would maybe use a small portion for trading and try my luck. However the majority I would just hold for more years.
But is extremely scare! Who knows what the price will be after the next 2 halvings? Could be 5 figures easily!! Question is if you can wait that long or have the mental strength to hold during the tough times on the way to it.

I guess you can start your doubling and tripling process with trading even with 0.05 bitcoins, I mean to say you do not need to wait to accumulate 10 bitcoins before starting doubling lol trading is not that easy in my experiences.

If I have 10 bitcoins right now, probably I will not do anything special other than how I got those 10 bitcoins for adding 10 more bitcoins into my stash. Yes, I am always dreaming of owning 21 bitcoins. But now it seems I need to work hard for years to achieve. I guess it may extend into decades of years when bitcoin prices hitting $5000 or $10,000 ranges.

I believe that diversing your money will give you a higher profit because still it is better to run your money in some transaction such as trading and investment. And I think storing your money is the safest way to gain profit because all you need to is to hold and wait until the right time to sell.

Same goes for me diversing your money is a great idea. If I have that amount I wil not store all of the 10 btc because still it is better for your money to work in some online transaction so that while waiting for the right time to sell the stored btc...you will get a profit weekly or even daily.
