I will hold on it of course. But if something came up on my end like an emergency, I will only sell a few bitcoin but not all. I don't know what price should I be selling it, but as much as possible I will keep on holding it. I personally believed that it can really reached new ATH. And I also factor that next halving, your btc will be getting scarce pushing the price more.

Point is that you should seperate your long term holding coins, and the coins that you have for short term trading/speculation purposes. In terms of my cold storage coins, I have been accumulating these coins for years now, and I am not going to sell any of them - even not when the price happens to reach the $10,000 level. My profits come through trading, and are sufficient enough to satisfy my needs. All I do is just trading the volatility, making profits, sending the profits to my cold wallets, and repeat. I don't cash out anything for actual fiat.

This seems a good idea. But the point is that is here anyone that much patient ? For to wait for such a price need a lot of patience I wish there was some other word that I used for it if was for patience. Because waiting for this much long takes too much. It needs you to more determine and more focus in the other things like plans for alternatives in the case of sudden changes.

i don't think to sell all 10 btc for just $2800 but i will hold it for the future because bitcoin price is not just for $2800 but more than that. maybe i will sell only small part of 10 btc, to buy something in real life. i will hold until the price is increase more than $10k and then i will sell it part by part and i will keep the rest for my children.

If I have 10 bitcoin in my wallet I will use it to get much bitcoin.I will use my 10 bitcoin in trading to gain much profit and I also invest it in any kind of investment sites but I think it took longer time to wait to get that much bitcoin.Lastly, if I have 10 bitcoin I would hold it and wait in the right time to sell it in high price.

I would definitely hold it probably until 2020 then if bitcoin halving will happen by then I will get half of the bitcoin and invest or buy again BTC's when the price is low.

I agree to that. Why sell bitcoin now that the price is only in an upward trend and doesn't seem like it wants to stop ? If we have this scenario for at least 4 years that are coming until 2020 or 2021 , bitcoin by then might be valued at 5x or 10x the actual price. It is not wise to sell something such valuable as bitcoin. It will be the greatest error of your life and you will regret dearly after a few years if you decide to do so now.

its not easy to hold it until 2020 because with bitcoin price is down and up too often, i think people will become greedy and they sell and buy bitcoin to make profit. holding 10 bitcoin without doing nothing is not good because we only have 10 bitcoin but if we used for example 5 btc to another purpose, then i think we can increase the amount of our bitcoin so in the 2020, we can see that our bitcoin is growth so we can sell to make big profit.

I would have waited till it hits 50k$. Because 50k$ is a highly viable and realistic expectation for bitcoin. 21M Supply x 50k$/btc = 1.050.000.000.000$ market cap for bitcoin. 50k$will probably happen before every coin gets mined so we can expect the market cap around 900billion $. Which is nearly as big as APPLE.

I can easily tell bitcoin has the potential to become (at least) as big as APPLE, so i would definitely wait.

Yes, you have made quite good calculations but what is the proof that the bitcoin will definitely hit that price ?
Also there is a very large time required for this if we assume that yes it is going to reach $50k but still we cannot say that how long it will take to reach to this level. Anyway best of luck for your holdings.

If i had no duties to spend then I woudn't spend, but why not holding? Haven't we taken a lesson with the recent pump from three digits to four digits? Wasn't that a good lesson that we should keep bitcoin and I would do this! I can't expect how much I would sell them but with the current flow anything below 5k wouldn't be good lol.

Yeah we all know that the bitcoin has got a lot of potential in it with respect to its price it is not the peak yet and the Bitcoin has proved it in the past and is proving it by the persistent increase in the price. If someone is not in need and have other option beside to sell the Bitcoin then it is much better to hold it and wait for the highest price for it to reach.

I will prefer to hold my Bitcoins and not gonna sale it on $2800.
I have planned to sell a few of my holdings but when the price will reach $3000 not before it. I have sold some before but at that time my target was $2,500. Now my target price is $3000.

yes that is good i am also in favour of holding bitcoin for next few months. because the price is still expected to increase and many people are expecting the price to cross 5000 at the end of 2017. so wait is good option in current situation. i am sure that the price of bitcoin will recover very soon and catch the right tract if the investors give support to bitcoin.

10 btc at that value is 28000 USD, its a sizeable sum but not enough to change lives. If I wanted to risk it all I'd go for at least 280000 USD because that would change my life completely and it would be more than enough. That means a price of up to 30k USD per bitcoin. Yes I think its unrealistic for at least a decade but thats what it would take to have the life I dream of.

This can change lives in my country, but I will say hold it until Bitcoin is 5k USD at least. or up to you. At the end of the day, it is how you manage our money that can change your lives.  You can invest them to other venture in order to grow it or trade it via altcoin / Bitcoins.

Then, if I have 10 btc I will trade in any trading sites to get some profit or invest in any kind of investment sites.But,if have it I will hold and when the right time has come I would sell it in high price.
