That will be bad idea, you should accept multiple altcoins because monero community is not quite strong right now so you may not get enough players. But along with bitcoin you can accept multiple other alts with inbuilt exchange features.

He probably only wants to offer Monero because of the anonymity aspect perhaps?

OP, I think it will definitely be difficult to attract enough players with Monero alone, I would at least add some other altcoins to the website.
Dash perhaps?

Hello friends,

Thanks.

i think its not a good idea as i don't want to use monero for placing a bet because for me, monero is too expensive to buy and only use for gambling. i am prefer with dogecoin because dogecoin is still cheap and its no need to waiting for a long time to deposit and arrive in my account.

Bitcoins are still king and every aspect of the gambling industry. But, everybody is just focusing on bitcoin gambling. If you could pull off a good gambling site with just monero, then you can be a pioneer in that aspect. Though you'll be offering this to a niche market, it may be worth the try.

.. is this good idea or not?

Sure, why not. It is not different to Bitcoin gambling. It is even better because Monero offers better privacy. I gambled with Monero on my own. You can use this sites for Monero gambling:

https://www.crypto-games.net
https://www.cloudbet.com/en/casino
https://safedice.com
and finally
https://monerodice.net

Why not accept both Bitcoin and Monero?  This way you can cater two communities.  It is always better to have multiple target audience if in case the other audience does not clicked.  I think choosing monero is good but accepting bitcoin will assure you that you will have players in your site.  Just make sure you players will have a great experience while playing in your site.

Yes now only one cryptocurrency bitcoin people know more in this world. Most of the bitcoin users also don't know about this Monero. So with this coin, if you allow other cryptocurrency means you will get more players. Specially bitcoin most of the people like to play gambling with bitcoin. Now the price is high, so people are turned to other altcoins.

I think it's very important to keep as much coin options as possible. At least the major ones, and monero would be a good option, but never as the only option. I think you should always get BTC at least, and then more options, with lower fees etc.

I think that it is a good idea to offer other coins as well for gambling and not btc only. I suggest LTC, Doge, ETH or even Monero like you suggested. Monero's advantage of course is its anonymity. But I don't know if gamblers will exchange their btc to monero just to play. I think its pretty much still dominated by btc in terms of online gambling.

Hello friends,

Why not? You will not know if you will not pursue? Try to check the traffic and usage for a given trial date then if things are not working well then try to add other cryptocurrency. Just-Dice with Clams got a nice experience so possibility for your work to become a success have a chance.

Just give it a shot even it has risk since that is investment should be. Just properly maintained the site with good features that every gamblers wants. What are those features? If you will be the owner then I know you already knows those things.

Do you even have enough money to start a gambling site? it's really hard out there, lots of competition!
i think you should wait for betking relaunch and use the betking platform to build your site and use your money to advertise your site.

Seems like a good idea. Gambling is huge in crypto and casinos need liquidity that's fast and cheap to transact. Bitcoin is becoming increasingly the opposite of this. So if I had a casino, I would list Monero and Litecoin. ETH will meet the same fate, its blockchain is growing too fast.
