Hey guys,

We don't have any written rules for this but my suggestion is that we keep this forum in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or in some cases English. It's not that I don't want people from Finland here but I don't see a point in having posts in completely different languages in the same forum. The point of the local forums is to build local communities and there won't be any community building if we can't understand each other.

That's my opinion, feel free to add yours.

My opinion: "Scandinavian" means Swedish, Danish or Norwegian, so that should be the policy.

It's more than your opinion, it's also a fact as Finland is technically not a part of Scandinavia Wink
Definitions can be changed of course, but I'd like to put a vote in for the "nor/swe/danish/english" thing either way.

Not that we don't love the Finnish people, with their lakes and all that stuff. It's just impossible to understand.  Wink

Yes, this forum should be for no/se/dk only. Finland should have it's own forum.

Who said we understand danish/norwegian?
I have to use built-in translation from chrome when I'm looking @ your norwegian/danish threads.

I say we all should speak swedish of the simple reason: you all understand us, but we don't understand you

Haha, true. Lets kick swedish to ass this year IIHF! Then we can singing Det Glider In again and everyone understand us, Cheesy

Actually Denmark is not part of Scandinavia. They have Scandinavia language but not part of Scandinavia. You use wrong this word when you speak about Nordic countries. Scandinavia mean Scandinavian Peninsula(?) where including Sweden, Norway and part of Finland.
If we use Scandinavian languages then there is also iceland language what sounds for finnish ear about same norwegian and danish languages Cheesy

Vet ikke om det er litt sent, men støtter det at Skandinavisk burde holdes innenfor Norge, Sverige og Danmark Smiley

I think we should include the finnish people in this sub-forum. As long as everyone can agree that English is the preferred language.

Don't quite agree with that. But english treads should be fine. Not sure about finnish treads, guess there should be a separate finnish sub-forum since your language is so different. Main reason for a Scandinavian sub-forum is after all the language.
