Why do people invest into dogecoin? I have been asked that question many time, I believe that it is worth a thread. Let's get right into it right now.

First, it is ranked in the top 15 cryptocurrency. Secondly, it is so cheap that if it has a slight growth, you will make A LOT. Basically, right now it is not even worth $0.01. The potential in this coin is so huge.

What are the uses of Doge? I don't think many people know what they are... and it can't both be top 15 marketcap and also be tiny with huge potential... it's one or the other. With that being said, people invest in Doge because they like to invest in memes. As far as memecoins go, Dogecoin is a Bluechip.. the gold standard. And there's nothing wrong with that justification for investment.

I don't think it's in the top '15' anymore. It's ranked as 19, according to coinmarketcap.com.

Other than being a way to escape Bitcoin high fees and delays, I don't think it has any other usages.

I am pretty sure that the reason why people invest in Dogecoin is because they want to get in on the hype and since there is a bunch of Doge available on exchanges they feel that they would make a bunch of money with all the coins that they have. Dogecoin is pretty tough to pump so I wouldn’t want to invest in it unless I had to send money to someone who has a Dogecoin wallet within few days ahead.

surely made a lot of money. but after the rally, im not sure how doge compares with the other currencies.
there used to be a strong community yessir, but do they still have them now. I compelled to pick litecoin or monero instead

My primary reason for buying Dogecoin was to have this available as aa currency for tipping on social networks, or personal interactions, etc. Secondary reasons were a good brand name, fast transactios (at least compared with BTC), accessible price that allowed purchase of 1.2M shares and belief that Dogecoin is likely to appreciate in value in the future.

because this coin started as a joke, then people liked the joke and stuck around and saw it can be mined and the reward was good. then the community grew and it started attracting a lot of attention and fun memes so more people came.

also it is fast and easy to use and super cheap (fees are 1 Doge!).
there aren't much to it that this, and the huge supply of multi billion is a big downside!

but wrong about growth. the rise is happening all over altcoin market and it is not specific to Doge or any other altcoin, they are ALL getting pumped. and they will ALL get dumped eventually.

you won't list it because there aren't really that much. there are a couple of merchants who were Doge Meme Fans who added doge and a couple of game selling websites which did that but most of them went out of business because of lack of interest.

beside that, the best thing that many people is invest into doge is they can use it for playing gambling, they only need to send dogecoin into their account and its no need to wait too long, the amount can arrive with fast. the other reason is i think dogecoin is for fun thing so they can save it into their wallet for long term investment.
