Doge is a very volatile currency so people see it going up 20% in a day and think its going to the moon when in fact its just an ordinary day. You then see people trying to rationalize that somehow doge is a coin which provides unique features and innovation. Needless to say as someone with a neutral perspective that is ridiculous.

The coin was launched in 2013-2014 and dev left the project in 2015( if i am right).
Even after dev left the project dogecoin is still in market and the price was never changing mode
i buyed 1000 dogecoin but the price of coin never(lit bit) increased so left this coin .

First, it is ranked in the top 15 cryptocurrency. Secondly, it is so cheap that if it has a slight growth, you will make A LOT. Basically, right now it is not even worth $0.01.

It's not cheap at all with its supply. It is overvalued if you ask me.

The potential in this coin is so huge.

I don't see other potential than people are buying this coin to gamble with it.

i would not invest in dogecoin but i use it like litecoin to move money between exchanges due to the low fees compared to btc.
i am thinking that this is part of the reason of the recent jump in doge prices.

@ Spoetnik its a fun coin to say the least,you can use the coin if you are new to the crypto market to get the feel about how it feels to send and receive tokens and it could be used for gambling as well as we have some dice sites that allows doge ,so these are the simple reason for people buying doge.
