We have updated out feathercoind client to the latest version and applied all patches . miners may have had a disconnect due to this.

Feathercoin 0.6.4 has been released and is available from the links below.

This is a mandatory update by block 33,000. After this block old clients will no longer be compatible. All coins and transaction are safe and will be the same in the new client. At current network speed the block adjust should happen on the 22nd May.

At block 33,000 the difficulty will be adjusted by 41.4% to help speed up transactions. After this block the difficulty will be adjusted in multiples of 504 making the difficulty adjust four times faster than Litecoin. The difficulty can change by a maximum of 41.4%.

We have enabled Variable difficulty on this pool. This will ensure you miners are more efficient then ever. This will also make the pool much more efficient while decreasing load on the backend.

I will be doing a write up on what exactly vardiff is and how it will help you as miners. give-me-ltc is also going to be updated to support vardiff in the next few days.

Attack happened last night and is long since over. Pool hash rate is only 14% of the network. It is no where near 50%!

Can we turn the payouts back on?
Was the 7% pool fees really necessary?

ATTENTION:

Users please create a account on give-me-ltc if you do not have one already. We are going to move ftc to a new server next week which we plan to use the same user db from give-me-ltc.

We will leave the current pool up for a extra 2 weeks to allow all users to withdraw coins before we remove the site. please setup you miners and accounts so you re ready when we make the change.
