New wallet will be required to store the swapped (PIEX) coins.

What is the wallet for swapping?

Or better to dump my 300k Piecoin.

The new chain is online and waiting for the swap to be over according to the devs. They're going to start swapping $PIE FOR $PIEX today, join their Discord channel for updated news.  Wink

Any update in Discord whether the current exchanges will support PIEX?

Probably we have to pay for listing again?

So did we get the same amount of PIEX and get back the "old" PIE too?

What will happen with the old Piecoin?

Is it the same like XVS to VSX?

Do you wan´t to do it like Bitcoin with Bitcoin Cash?

If not, you (dev) can sell all the "old" coins for high Price.

Is the new supply of coins 72.000.000, too?

What are you doing with the old coin? Burn?

I dumped all of my PIE at 800 sat pending the swap because they're reissuing the burnt coins; something I told them not to do and still think will harm PIE long term. The previously burnt PIE coins will be placed in developer control post fork, unless they've changed the plan and will distribute it to PIE holders on pro-rata basis. The old PIE coin SHOULD be burned, but that's just trusting in the new developer who appeared to fork the coin and give himself the burnt coins. I don't have alot of faith in manual swaps.

I cannot understand something like this. As i told the Vsync Devs ind the Vsync thread... there should be a better option for a swap. It is like printing money out of nothing!

There are only two options.  #1 Burn all the old PIE coins after swap and delist them from the exchanges.
Then we have the old development Team only working on the new coin.

Option #2... You work on both sides and give all the early or new holders the same amount of old PIEcoins back.

I know, that option #2 is a bit difficult. So the only fair way is no #1.

If you burn the coins. everyone can check the blockexplorer that you burned the exact amount of coins directly.
If i send the dev 11.275 coins, they shoud burn them directly and we could see that in the blockexplorer.

I've been here a LOT longer than many people who are so gung-ho about this questionable swap where the person doing it said they're going to recirculate the burnt coins.

You obviously haven't been keeping up with news King. They will only be working on PieX. Not sure where any of this info came from but nice fud. They will be burning the old coins and heres the burn address on the block explorer http://piecoin.thecryptochat.net/richlist
Its a 1:1 swap new wallet will be linked soon.

Yes, that's the current PIEcoin with the coins that are burnt listed. That is not the PieX, which will likely have over 10 million new coins added out of thin air.
