bitcoin used to be both an investment and an online currency for me to use to buy anything that i need from the internet with it.
but these days the high transaction fees makes me want to do less transactions and just stick to the investment part. and then hope that we can get SegWit sooner so we can get out of this slump so that i can continue spending my bitcoin.

Buying the dip...

For me, bitcoin is a passive income source, working with it can give me a great source of profit, and that job with me is easy, it's not too hard for a student like me.

In bitcoin i like the feature that we can be anonymous among the people and making passive income with and without investment with the available earning platforms such as trading, lending and signature campaign.
Please avoid the could mining and gambling as much you can to not facing the lose.

it's a safe heaven for me, despite many thinking otherwise, i see lower risk now in holding money in bitcoin than anything else

i like to do small purchase with it now, and save the big one for the future when the value will allow me to use less bitcoin, it's true for now that bitcoin will encourage hoarding

and it's a good thing it make the value stronger and bring more people in the equation, when bitcoin will be mature enough and accepted everywhere you will see a massive usage, like a currency

The main function of bitcoin is as a currency replacement currency cash. But when more people use bitcoin as an investment, they prefer to make an investment because it brings in a lot of money. Now not many who accept bitcoin as a medium of payment, we are still developing it much better again.

For me bitcoin primary function is to serve as an online currency and dealing with online side transactions. Since bitcoins also exchangeable into money it serves me as a sideline asides on the job I have been working in. It does really help me on various ways and its ease of use made me deal on certain transactions much faster with lesser problems.

BIG WINNER!

I feel only few people would use bitcoin to get things these days without converting into fiat with the exception of activities on the forum and the reason is quite simple due to the fact that only few stores accept bitcoin and it becomes more expensive to use bitcoin due to waiting period and high transaction fees so basically I change bitcoin to fiat in times of need then use it to meet my needs keep the rest for another rainy day.

At the moment bitcoin is an investment for the future... but I do use it when I have to from time to time. I think it will be a valuable commodity in the future so one must not miss out on the opportunity and invest or earn whatever he/she can now.

S curve function ...  Wink

The most important curve in the world As far as its neighbors are concerned, a neuron can only be in one of two states: firing or not firing. This misses an important subtlety, however. Action potentials are short lived; the voltage spikes for a small fraction of a second and immediately goes back to its resting state. And a single spike barely registers in the receiving neuron; it takes a train of spikes closely on each other’s heels to wake it up. A typical neuron spikes occasionally in the absence of stimulation, spikes more and more frequently as stimulation builds up, and saturates at the fastest spiking rate it can muster, beyond which increased stimulation has no effect. Rather than a logic gate, a neuron is more like a voltage-to-frequency converter.
This curve, which looks like an elongated S, is variously known as the logistic, sigmoid, or S curve. Peruse it closely, because it’s the most important curve in the world. At first the output increases slowly with the input, so slowly it seems constant. Then it starts to change faster, then very fast, then slower and slower until it becomes almost constant again. The transfer curve of a transistor, which relates its input and output voltages, is also an S curve. So both computers and the brain are filled with S curves. But it doesn’t kinds: the probability of an electron flipping its spin as a function of the applied field, the magnetization of iron, the writing of a bit of memory to a hard disk, an ion channel opening in a cell, ice melting, water evaporating, the inflationary expansion of the early universe, punctuated equilibria in evolution, paradigm shifts in science, the spread of new technologies, white flight from multiethnic neighborhoods, rumors, epidemics, revolutions, the fall of empires, and much more. The Tipping Point could equally well (if less appealingly) be entitled The S Curve . An earthquake is a phase transition in the relative position of two adjacent tectonic plates. A bump in the night is just the sound of the microscopic tectonic plates in your house’s walls shifting, so don’t be scared. Joseph Schumpeter said that the economy evolves by cracks and leaps: S curves are the shape of creative destruction.

The master algorithm

I think better bitcoin can be used to buy some food, all bitcoin users should have their own role in the community residing in their residence, at least invite people to introduce bitcoin Smiley

Bitcoin function for me more to investment that aims to seek profit, as well as a protector of wealth. Over time, I'm sure bitcoin will continue to rise in price. Which of course in the future, bitcoin will really help me.

I started using bitcoins majorly as a means of transaction due to its ease, speed etc but recently I am starting to see it majorly as a means of investment with the high transaction fees which is becoming unbearable. Hoping something is done soon, cause it isn't good that we are loosing the main function of bitcoin.

Btc for me also is for a good transaction but these are just hard because of many certain issues about the transaction and i hope it will be fixed soon. Also for trading because even if you have .01 btc you can invest in a lot of altcoins because of its high price. Many altcoins still costs less than a dollar so for me there is no harm in trying to invest just for experiment and there was good increase in a certain altcoin then i think i do it again to invest in that project.

Same as what you have stated.  I knew bitcoin because of I finding a way to earn extra income.  Before my earning was not that much but it is really a good way to meet my daily finances.  Now that bitcoin price is high, I am more into earning more bitcoins.  I do not want to try a risk as every bit of bitcoins is important for me.
